Such a wonderful stay for vacationing. The house was clean and just as described. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool and fire pit. Andrea, the host was timely and responsive of all questions throughout. Note, you do have to pay a small fee in addition to have pool heated. It was worth it. Note: The cul de sac was super quiet.

This property is everything the description promises. Lots of open space for family to congregate and the outdoor area can’t be beat. The location is great and close to lots of great places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

We came out for a week over spring break with our 6 year old and had a great time. The host was extremely responsive to questions before and during our stay, and quick to action when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house one day. The location was great - we were worried we may be too far out, but it's an easy drive down to the zoo/downtown and equally easy access to beaches. There's also some sneaky good restaurants just a few miles south, so you don't have to go far to find some fun spots.The house was clean and the back area was excellent - we took advantage of the pool and hot tub every day, made smores at the fire pit and cooked a few of our meals on the grill.For our little family, this was a perfect spot and a great stay!

This property was the perfect setting for a family getaway to San Diego. I rented this property for a quick long weekend to celebrate my birthday with my husband, our one-year-old son and my best friend. This house is centrally located, so it was easy to get to all of the key attractions, including Coronado island, La Jolla Beach, the San Diego zoo, downtown and so much more!The house was very well appointed, was incredibly well-maintained and the pool and hot tub were great for early morning, afternoon, and evening fun after a day of exploring. The neighborhood was very quiet and there’s an amazing local fruit stand just up the street with some of the best produce I’ve ever tastedMy only criticism would be that the beds were incredibly hard, so if you don’t love a firm mattress, this may not be the best sleep you have ever had. That said, everything else was so exceptional. I couldn’t help but give a five star review. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

The house was clean on the surface but could use a deep cleaning. Blinds, ceiling fans, woodwork were all very dusty. Outside area was full of dead leaves. Even the house rules book could use a wipe down or be replaced. The house itself is a little worn down but serve it’s purpose. The pool with heat was a nice asset for our grandson. My family of 4 (husband, 10 and 7 y/o boys) and my sister's family of 3 (sister, BIL, 3 y/o girl) all stayed at this amazing house for our spring break trip to San Diego. The house was spacious, well appointed and has a gorgeous backyard with a firepit and heated pool. The main floor has two living areas, each with their own TVs, one powder bathroom, a dining room and kitchen. The appliances work well and the owners have left a lot of dishes/pots/pans/appliances, its really convenient to make your own meals. We even did our easter meal here! The upstairs has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The only downside to the upstairs layout is the master suite has 1 full bath attached to it, leaving the other 3 bedrooms to share the other bathroom most of the time. The back yard has a gorgeous patio with a fire pit (we did smores almost every night!) and a heated pool. The house itself is very conveniently located to the zoo, the beach, seaworld and not too far of a drive to legoland and the safari park. We never really had to deal with traffic, it was really nice! We had a fantastic vacation and would stay here again in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this rental!!!

The property was wonderful very clean and in good condition. The manager got back to us immediately about any questions we had. Most everything you need to know is included in the white book on the table. The only thing you need to do is make sure you have something you can use to start the outside fire pit like matches or lighter to get it started. Everything else was fabulous.

This is an older, loved home. There is wear and tear, but things are functional. We loved the location! 20 min or less to just about everything! Pool/hot tub (once you figure out the levers to heat each appropriately) are an amazing experience. Quiet and private. Beds and pillows are comfortable but firm. If we return to San Diego with the entire family, we would stay here again!

Great property in an awesome location. It was so nice to come home to air conditioning after a long day in the sun. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and relaxed. The house did have a few ants that is my only complaint. We would return for sure.

Great back yard. Run down neighborhood. Not the owners fault, but wouldn’t feel comfortable taking a walk around at night. Kitchen needs a remodel, adult forks and new fry pans. Difficult lighting in master since light is not connected to switch.

Overall a good place to stay, but this house did have some drawbacks. Overall cleanliness could be better (dishwasher and fridge specifically). Only allotting two trash bags for the kitchen trash was kind of annoying. Running out of hand soap in the downstairs bathroom on the second day of our stay was also not great. The shower head in the upstairs (not the master), is so low that adults have to bend down or lean your head really far back to wash hair. Plus, the three knobs in the shower was super confusing at first. The beds and pillows were more firm than we would have liked. On the plus side, The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and felt very safe. The pool was a big hit for the three children on this trip. We had a group of 8 and had plenty of room in the house. We did pay extra for pool heating, but failed to read the entirety of the house manual and assumed the pool heat was turned on prior to our visit. Turns out, we needed to turn it up ourselves, so we didn’t get to experience the heated pool until the last night. Still enjoyed it and ultimately it’s our fault for not reading everything, but more clear communication to read the home manual for these instructions would have been nice.

Love the location of this house it was ideal for everything we wanted to do. The pool was a hit and I appreciated it didn't cost an arm and leg to heat. I also loved that the house was simple in the fact I didn't have to worry breakable things everywhere with my children. Pletty of pool towels. Could have used even just 1 extra roll of tp. All in all totally recommend and would stay again in a heart beat!

This home was conveniently located to all the places we planned to visit,- San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, Downtown San Diego & SnapDragon Stadium. Accommodations were comfortable with lots of space for our family of 6 adults & 1 child. Would have given a 5- start review but felt that 1 extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a 5 night stay was not for a family of 7. Had to make a trip to the store to purchase toilet paper. Should have been included in the rental fee.

We really loved this property. The backyard was perfect! It was private, had so much seating and the pool itself was great for all ages. It was located close to Old Town, Gaslamp, Seaport Village, Hillcrest, La Jolla and the famous Kobey’s Sawp meet. We would definitely rent this house again!!!

My family of four (2 adults and kids ages 11 and 8) stayed at this property. We drove down to San Diego for some relaxation after spending a few days at Disneyland. We found the house to be exactly as advertised and very clean. It had all the amenities supplied that we needed for our stay, including separate towels for the shower and beach for our use. After being out of the house during the day exploring San Diego, we enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and fire pit. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we honestly never even physically saw any of the neighbors. The only negative that we experienced was that the next door neighbor clearly has a camera attached to their house that pointed directly into the backyard of this VRBO. You could see two red lights flashing on the camera so we felt like we were always being watched. For the most part we didn’t let it bother us because we weren’t doing anything wrong and we were being respectful. The only odd thing was that on the last night we were there, it was about 10:10 pm and that neighbor’s camera started flashing bright white lights as if to warn us that it was after 10 pm and they wanted us to go inside. The bright flashing lights only lasted for a few seconds but this rubbed us the wrong way because we were in no way being loud. We were just sitting around the fire pit chatting about our vacation. We went inside shortly after that. Clearly the next door neighbor does not like this property being used as a VRBO but that was the only negative we had. The property was otherwise everything we were looking for.

This property was as described and the hosts made us feel welcome and were very responsive. We loved the backyard that contained a fantastic pool that our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed as well as a fire pit for s’mores. There was plenty of seating room in the backyard where we enjoyed several meals and a cabana where you could relax and read a book or enjoy watching the swimmers. We would highly recommend and would come back if in the area again!

This was our second time here. We had an outstanding time. Spent a lot in the pool, and hot tub. Went into Mission Beach for Paleta. YUM. Had Cioppino from Little Italy. Popped down to Costco and the Fruit Stand. It was another great trip.
