This stunning, single level, fully furnished penthouse unit is just steps from fabulous restaurants, shops, the world famous La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club, Blacks Beach and La Jolla Cove. Just a short drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course, Downtown San Diego, PetCo Park, San Diego Bay, Mission Bay, and SeaWorld. The immaculate interior offers 4 bedrooms, 2 baths both with granite counter tops, open and light filled living areas, newer carpet and natural stone flooring, fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a gourmet kitchen. Elevator and two secured parking spaces.
La Jolla Shores is a beach and popular vacation/residential community of the same name in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The quaint La Jolla Shores business district is a relaxed, mixed-use village encircling Laureate Park, on Avenida de la Playa in the village of La Jolla Shores. The village has several fine dining restaurants as well as plenty of casual dining places, shops, and a few galleries. You can take surf lessons and rent surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, and wetsuits from Surf Diva. Kayak, snorkel, and bike tours and rentals are available at San Diego Bike and Kayak.
The beach is approximately one mile long and stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black’s Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. The Shores meets the Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus and Kellogg Park (with a playground right next to the beach), encompasses the Scripps Pier and borders the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve to the south. The beach is a popular launch point for kayakers and has a swimming area only and a surfing only area.

The property and location exceeded expectations-would book again. My husband and I traveled with our 3 young adult children plus our son's fiance. There was plenty of space for everyone and we felt right at home; we were able to cook and enjoy meals while we were there and the parking garage was convenient. The area was quiet and accessible and felt safe. The property is steps from the beach and the shops, and the property has everything you could want from boogie boards, to beach towels and a hose to rinse your feet and boards too. The shores area is fantastic for activities, from surfing to snorkeling, swimming and stand up paddleboarding. We took a beach yoga class which was fantastic. It was also cool to see so much wildlife in the shores area, we had a seal and sea lion swim by us and also saw a couple of dolphins from the beach. The shopping area is great, with delicious casual and sit down restaurants, coffee and many surf shops. Our favorites were Brick and Bell Coffee, Jeff's Burgers, Dough Mama Pizza, Scoops for ice cream. We loved Surf Diva and Everyday California for surf shops.

This was the best place we have rented in La Jolla. Close to everything. a great spot. plenty of room. we will go there again

The location is the reason we booked there which is walking distance to beach, but the style and furniture are so old. The bed sheets are not cotton. It feels hot in the night to sleep. The space is big which is good. Overall Just ok!
