About this house rental
Your Property
On opening the front door you’ll notice how the river theme flows throughout this memorable Northwest retreat. The restful decor is inspired by native shades of lichen, whitewashed timber, warm sunsets, and mineral grays, and the design blends seamlessly with the panorama revealed by floor-to-ceiling windows. Curated art and unique bedding accent every living area, capturing the many moods of life on the water. Children will especially enjoy the whimsical finned and furry creatures found in both twin and bunk bedrooms.
The spacious living room, dining room and kitchen form a ground floor hub for conversation and hospitality. The several bedrooms and bathrooms spread outward and upward from here, providing spaces for relaxation and privacy as multiple generations and friend groups travel together. There are also delightful bonus spaces, such as the open loft for gathering around puzzles and games, and the semi-private suite off the second-floor landing, and the fully outfitted ski room for drying wet gear.

Enjoy leather lounge chairs flanking the gas fireplace, a galley kitchen for prepping light meals and snacks, and a spacious full bath with floor-to-ceiling storage for your travel gear. When it’s time to wind down, there’s both a queen bedroom and a separate queen murphy bed.
2. The Ski Room: located conveniently off the garage, there’s plenty of wall racks for skis, poles, jackets and hats; for gloves and boots there are deep shelves and a pair of powerful blow dryers. Ducting into the main house provides gentle, warm air circulation as everything dries overnight.
3. Remote workstation: a sleek oak desk, a supportive swivel chair, and high-speed internet team up to provide just what you need for keeping in touch with the office.
4. Footpath down to the river: meandering mule deer trace a slender trail among the pines and native grasses to the riverbank. Throughout the summer splashy canoes launch from the Resort upstream and fill the river with frothy paddling and hearty laughter. If you’re thinking of fishing, Oregon’s nature-friendly rules can be found at https://myodfw.com/fishing/central-zone
5. River Style Christmas: two of the cherished riverbank traditions are making classic snowmen with the kids and decking a young lodgepole pine with LEDs.
6. Hot Beverage of your choice on demand: no matter how you prefer to brew, whether it’s stovetop espresso, or classic drip, or custom Keurig or tea leaf steeping, your steaming mug is just moments away.
7. Ice cream social: head to the neighborhood grocery—just a mile away—for fresh cream, pantry fixings and seasonal fruits, and churn up your own gourmet flavor. The taste tests will be amazing!
8. Comfort food for a crowd: the dining table seats ten, and the kitchen counter four more! Two ovens and four gas burners stand ready, and whether you need a Crock Pot, an Instant Pot, a food processor or stand mixer, a classic blender or a bullet, the perfect appliance is at your fingertips.
