About this house rental
1 Tumalo Ln is a quick walk to the river, and a short walk/ride to Ft. Rock Park, the Village and the SHARC.
The quiet location and the amenities included make this a peaceful retreat. With over 3200 Sq Ft this open floor plan with vaulted ceilings is perfect for multiple families to get together, relax, and enjoy everything Sunriver has to offer. The home has 2 masters, one upstairs with a king bed and walk in closet. The second master is downstairs also with a king bed. Both masters have direct access to the spacious 8 person hot tub. There are 2 more bedrooms downstairs, one with a king, and the other with 2 sets of log bunk beds. There is a shared bathroom downstairs with a sauna and access to the hot tub. There is a second living space downstairs with a sleeper sofa.
The fully stocked kitchen has solid surface counters, pantry, gas stove, and stainless steel appliances. Enjoy a meal at the bar or at the large 8 person table.
A private deck with gas BBQ and 2 outdoor eating areas gives plenty of room for large gatherings and allows for your enjoyment of the beauty of Sunriver. In the double car garage there are 7 adult size bikes, 2 children's bikes, and a baby trailer that is easy to attach to any bike. Although bikes are available, we encourage you to bring your own due to possible unexpected maintenance issues. Also in the garage is a foosball table and a second refrigerator. The large private driveway has a basketball hoop.

Brandon and Karen's place was perfect for my family's week in Sunriver. The layout gave us all privacy and I appreciated having two living spaces for times when we were doing our own thing, but the upstairs spaces are big enough for us all to hang out. The kitchen had all the plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc. that we needed and home was very clean. Note that you will need to bring coffee and shower essentials, like soap and shampoo/conditioner. There are a bunch of bikes, mostly one speed cruisers (my partner and I brought our mountain bikes and my mom ended up renting in town, but for short rides, the provided bikes would be sufficient). We loved having the hot tub off the downstairs bedrooms and the big deck upstairs. The location was not far from the restaurants and shops, only a block from the bike trails, and a short ride to the river. We had a great time and would not hesitate to stay at Brandon and Karen's home next time we are in the area.

This property is perfect for our extended family of 3 generations. There is space to be together, and space to be apart.... Crucial for a week's stay! The home was clean and neat upon our arrival. Beds were comfortable. We had a small issue with the AC. Upon notifying the owners, they called us back almost immediately and then arranged for a repair. Things happen. They took care of it ... That's what counts. We love our time in Sunriver at this house, and have booked again for next year!

The home is a lovely place to vacation in during your Sunriver stay. The hosts communicate clearly and respond rapidly to your questions. Very well appointed kitchen and a quiet location close to everything.

Pros:This was a large property, in a quiet location. It came with 10 passes to the waterpark. The kids enjoyed the video game room and the downstairs family room. It had 3 King Size beds. The property manager was fast to respond to our requests.
Cons: It definitely had some challenges with cleanliness. Upon arrival, my daughter washed the windows on the sliding door to the deck. They were left very dirty. The slider tracks were so filled with dirt & debris that you had to lean into them & use your body weight to get them open. My husband spent 30 minutes cleaning them out, so that we could easily open them. The wall to wall carpet was very dirty. We found the vacuum, which was badly clogged, fixed it and vaccumed the upstairs carpet. He had to empty the canister twice just cleaning the upstairs carpet. The kitchen was in need of some TLC. The kitchen faucet continued to ruin unless you left it in an exact position over the sink. The silverware holder in the dishwasher had holes in the bottom of it, allowing silvereare to partially slip through. This made it difficult to push the bottom level of the dishwasher back in. The primary bedroom had a sink that would not drain. These are but a few of the challenges we faced. None of which would I have anticipated of a house at this price point.
We have been renting houses at Sunriver for 25 years. This one was by far the most challenging. Unfortunately, the cons out
weighed the pros. We would not stay there again.
