The facilities met all our expectations, including the double glazed windows which made the room pleasantly quiet. But the winning feature was the couple who own the place. Their hospitality knows no end, starting with a bottle of pretty decent homemade wine to welcome us and followed the next morning by a breakfast treat of truly royal dimensions. We were offered help with any issue we had, and support that went way beyond what we could dream of. If it wasn't for prior arrangements, we would have loved to stay longer. Their warmth and hospitality knows no limits.

I can't say enough good about this hotel. When we walked in, we were greeted with homemade wine and cake (I still wish I had asked for the recipe). We were offered a larger room than the one we had booked because it was open during our stay. All of the spaces were comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were incredibly plentiful, varied, and fresh. The hosts truly want everyone to feel at home and to truly enjoy their city.

Amazing welcome from Bela and her husband Seryan who were very kind and generous. We were welcomed with homemade wine. There is a communal area to sit and have coffee at any time. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. Great views of the castle which is next door. Great place for exploring the beautiful old town. The breakfast was the best I have ever had with a lavish spread and homemade omelette which was the best I have ever eaten. We lived like kings and queens here! The price was very reasonable. Nothing was too much trouble for Bela and she is very attentive. Chilled water available all the time. This is probably the best place I have ever stayed, and the hosts made it so. I have stayed in every country in Europe (48 of them) and this is the best welcome and experience I have ever had.

The host was amazing. The place was clean, had air conditioning and the breakfast was very big. The guest house is within the castle grounds. You can walk to restaurants, the castle, and the town in a few minutes.
