The Clifden Arms B&B

Really lovely place to stay. Facilities were lovely. Loved the fact that the family room had a kitchenette. If we were staying longer will have made good use of it. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and it's such a good thing to have the playground. My kids didn't want to leave.

As is nature.it seems there was a bee or.wasp nest living under the roof as they must have found their way into the bathroom vent hahaha

The hotel had lots of character , nice bar area and restaurant. The food was good both at dinner and breakfast . The staff were friendly and helpful . The room was comfortable and cosy.

I stayed for one night and found the room to be clean, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice, and I would highly recommend the scrambled eggs! I also had an evening meal in the pub, which I really enjoyed. All of the staff I encountered were polite, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. As a woman travelling and staying alone, I particularly appreciated how safe and comfortable I felt. The room door has a traditional key lock, which meant I could leave the key in the lock on the inside overnight, giving me that extra sense of security. Overall, I had a really pleasant stay at The Clifden Arms and would happily stay again. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere comfortable, welcoming and friendly.

I have no complaints. I get the feeling that the staff team would of done their best to accommodate requests. there is a comprehensive guide book in the room.

Nice location; comfortable room; drinks OK.

Dinner was poor: burger was overcooked and tasteless, my wife's Korean Chicken was a mound of chicken legs over a pile of chips. We ordered scrambled eggs with our breakfast, they were clearly made from an egg substitute and tasted accordingly.
