Wonderful little hideaway in a super location!

A wonderful location - perfect for the football stadium and with a superb pub only round the corner serving fantastic real ales and great food. As someone with medical dietary issues, having a kitchen with a fridge/freezer/microwave took away the usual worries when booking a hotel. Would not hesitate to book again or recommend it to others. Thank you both!

A decent place however an unpleasant damp smell cut my stay short

The location and facilities were very good.

Unfortunately there was a strong smell of damp in the property. It was very unpleasant. I told the owners on arrival and they said they would look into it. It was fairly late when I arrived so stayed the night but it was not nice with the smell. In the morning I found snail trails all over my boots that I had left in the kitchen. I was on a course and supposed to be staying 3 nights so messaged the owners in the afternoon and it was obvious they had not meant they would look into anything whilst I was there at least. Therefore I had to leave and find other accommodation for the other nights. It was a shame as the place had everything else I needed and I brought a lot of luggage and food with me, so was a pain to move accommodation. I hope they can find the route of the issue and resolve.

Lovely place to stay at Preston

I struggled to find a power socket. There was no available socket within easy access from the table. I had to recharge my laptop and mobile phone. However, I called the host and he pointed me to a socket which was already occupied with something else. See photo Other than that, everything else was very good..

really liked the place and ideal for what I need. have tried to book on two other occasions but fully booked! which is

loved the fact I had my own little place to come to after work that I could cook, continue to work and feel comfortable in . having a bathroom and even access to washing machine was fantastic. Wi-Fi great. extra sockets and also full size iron and board.

it could do with a blind over the kitchen door. out with control of the property owners but the neighbours were VERY noisy till approx 5am on the first night. to the point it did disturb my sleep. wasn’t quite as bad second night.

Ideally situated for parents visiting UCLAN students and ideal set-up for such a couple. Very good value for money and much nicer than staying in a 'budget' chain hotel.

Excellent place to stay

So comfortable, excellent facilities. Nice kitchen with everything u need to make a nice meal. Washing machine, WiFi, large television, storage space. Lovely and warm. Lovely, communicative hosts, very easy access to check in. Quiet considering its near a busy main road. Will definitely be back. Glad we found this. Much better than staying in a hotel, felt much more homely and a stone throw away from tescos and town centre

The flat was more than adequate for our needs and was good value.

Owner made very clear instructions. The flat was clean and had large tv and Alexa! Easy parking in a quiet area near to the centre of the main facilities of the town.

Had to be creative with some limited pieces of cutlery and crockery.

Lives up to its name in more ways than one!

Beautiful apartment, looked even better than the pictures! Had everything I needed for one night, and was less than a 5 min walk to a Tesco express for essentials. Easy to find, clear instructions on parking and access, hosts friendly and communicative. Wish I’d stayed for more than one night!
