Weaver's Cottage @ Number 10

Great location and stunning views! Very cosy little cottage, beautiful landscape. Outdoor seating was lovely for having breakfast outside while enjoying the view.

Could do with a little bit of TLC, a few cosmetic things that could be fixed but nothing major. Also it can be difficult to find, might be useful to print out birds eye view map and drawing directions onto it.

This stone cottage kept me nice and cool during a heatwave. The home's interior was clean and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen. It was quiet at night, and I slept well. There are lovely nature walks in both directions--uphill behind the house and down along the river and canal heading away from town. In the evening, enjoyed swaying in the garden hammock chair, from which there was a narrow view of the town between two rooftops. For the price--a little over £100/night with my Booking.com Genius discount--it was a very good value, despite a few shortcomings.

Communication was terse. I hadn't expected upstairs neighbors. The touted view turned out to be pretty meager as a payoff for the steep climb up the road and stairs. Though I liked the hammock chairs, the seat cushions were mildewed, and the garden was a bit overrun with weeds.

Situated with marvellous views. A great location. Only 5 min walk from all the fun and bustle of a country town.

There was nothing to dislike. It was a perfect location.

Dust behind the bed and along the headboard and along the skirting boards. Freezer box in need of defrosting. No PAT Testing labels on appliances and fuse board sticker said that it was last tested 2006 Three crockery items in the cupboard found to be dirty
