The location is perfect. This is what you are paying for. It's minutes away from the river and you are right in the heart of everything. It was comfortable and the AC was sooo good. The bed was nice and I enjoyed the shower. The black out blinds and curtains were really good too. Ana's instructions were clear and she was really helpful. I left my suitcase for a while after I checked out which was very kind. The little kitchen cupboard was useful although I only used the fridge and sink. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

I think the apartment felt a little outdated and could do with a refresh. I would suggest a fresh coat of paint and tidy up of skirting boards to make it feel a bit brighter and cleaner. Definitely a new rug. Overall, it wasn't very welcoming or warm but just a bit clinical. The shower was lovely but went cold after a few minutes. This was a bit annoying when I was washing my hair. Missing a full length mirror and a shelf in the shower cubicle! The building is obviously old so you can hear the other occupants and nearby building works quite clearly.

There was mold in the show recess. When we asked if the cleaner to scrub the shower mold, the response was , "There is a big difference between mold and moisture. What you call mold is moisture due to the fact that hot water is used daily." and " I hope that since HS doesn't match, Porto will be able to compensate you" I did correct the host that black stains are usually mold spores thriving in warm, wet areas.
