Asali House is a beautiful villa in a stunning beachfront location. The design is elegant and comfortable, making it easy to feel at home right away. The service is exceptional—Upendo and Habiba are efficient, kind, and discreet, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Chef Ahmet’s cooking is delicious. The house is amazing. Four ensuite rooms, three of them with beach views. Kitchen is well equipped. Staff is also very friendly and professional. Haji, the driver, was very helpful with our grocery shopping and tours. Kids loved the swimming pool. Plenty of restaurants and bars in walking distance and having the option of meals prepared by the chef Ahmed is an added bonus. Our family loved the stay!

The sea in front of the house was full of sea urchins and sea weed. Definitively not the best beach in Zanzibar. The air conditioners in one of the rooms was broken so we could only use three of the rooms for most part of the stay. We are a family of five so that was a bit inconvenient. We also had to stand with the noise of the technician fixing the air conditioner until early in the evening and that was also a bit inconvenient.
