Kena Beach Villas

Wir hatten ein Mietauto und haben vom Flughafen ca. 1h bis zur Unterkunft gebraucht. Wir empfanden das Auto als notwendig, da die Unterkunft doch eher abgelegen ist. Dennoch fanden wir die Lage super. Die Einfahrt der Villa befindet sich an einer Straße, an der auch viele Einheimische wohnen. Die waren alle super lieb und hilfsbereit, von ihnen kann man auch Obst & Gemüse kaufen. Ein guter Italiener war in der Nähe und auch ein Supermarkt. Die Villa ist super schön. Man hat seinen eigenen Außenbereich mit Pool und quasi einen Privatstrand direkt vor der Tür. Ebbe & Flut spielen eine große Rolle, meine Eltern & Tante haben es aber geliebt bei Ebbe ganz ungestört hunderte Meter ins Meer zu spazieren. Die Villa hat immer einen Security vor dem Tor, v.a. nachts. Wir haben uns immer super sicher gefühlt. Simon ist auch super lieb und respektvoll, antwortete immer schnell und hat für den Geburtstag meiner Mama sogar einen Kuchen und Dekoration besorgt. Wir waren zu 6 und alle sehr begeistert und wir werden lange daran zurück denken. Wir würden auch wieder hierher zurückkehren. Und den Hund werden wir auch vermissen.

Die Toilettenspülung lief nach dem Betätigen manchmal ununterbrochen durch, bis man das selber wieder richtete. Und wir hatten manchmal kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Das WLAN funktionierte auch wie es wollte. Alles aber Dinge, die den Aufenthalt nicht wirklich negativ beeinflusst haben.

Villa incroyable ! Parfaite pour notre famille avec nos 6 enfants … cuisine très agréable pour cuisiner ou laisser nos hôtes nous préparer de délicieux repas selon les jours , chambres très confortables , salle de bains attenantes dans chaque chambre , vastes espaces communs pour nous retrouver tous les 8 simplement parfaits ! Et que dire de l’accès à la mer , plage et front de mer très agréables ! Pour nous 8 ce fut vraiment le paradis , très reposant après notre séjour tanzanien. Merci à Yussuf pour sa disponibilité , sa gentillesse , son accueil et sa discrétion. Nous recommandons !

Wir waren mit 4 Kindern zu Gast und waren begeistert. 🤩 wir wurden sensationell bekocht und betreut. Alles war super sauber, sogar die Bettwäsche wurde nach 3 Tagen gewechselt. Das Grundstück ist riesig für optimale Privatsphäre und total ruhig. Der Sonnenaufgang am Morgen ist ein Schauspiel genau wie das Spiel zwischen Ebbe und Flut. Spektakulär 🏆.

The villa is modern and has a lot of space, bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice. Same for the pool, great. The staff did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, we also hired the private chef that cooked for us everyday. They also organized a bonfire the last day, beautiful experience.The beach in front of the villa is almost private and it's a great place for long relaxing walks on the beach. In the morning you can admire beautiful sunrises.

Check-in has been difficult, we arrived at 2pm and we had to wait 2 hours to enter the villa. The villa was generally clean but the sofas have a pretty bed smell. The kitchen was lacking some tools, there was nothing for the kids to play in the pool and the white lights installed in some part of the house were very cold. The staff is very nice but sometimes lacks of professionalism (for example when the gardener started cutting the grass at 2pm waking up our baby from her afternoon sleep). The final payment for the private chef has been a real pain, they asked us to fill a paper with our credit card details, so unsafe and out of place. We ended up doing a very expensive bank transfer because the only other option was cash... Overall the high price is not justified, 3K for a week is really too much considering the quality of the house and the context.
