The more outstanding thing was the support of the owner during our stay. The property was very good located and the facilities were really good.

I think the only difficult thing was carry our luggage through the city, because of the design of Venice.

The location in Cannaregio area of Venice was ideal. Just 5 min walk from waterbus stop to/from airport and lovely squares right nearby as well as laundromat and grocery store within a couple of min. We were able to walk from our place to wherever we wanted throughout Venice. Host very lovely and reachable. Kitchen, although compact, had everything you needed to prepare food.

It is just my personal preference to have a bright space to stay in. Given the location of this flat on ground floor of small alley, the inside wasn't bright enough for me. The window curtains remained closed so that passersby couldn't see it just felt a little too dark for me. Not that we spent a lot of time there so as a place to just have to sleep and keep your bags, it is enough. The main couch which can act as a bed for a 5th person (as was the case for our family) could be upgraded as it was feeling a bit saggy.
