Great campsite, really peaceful would be very happy to go back

Very quiet and peaceful campsite. The staff were super helpful and the access to the river spaces were really really good. Whilst the cabin was quite small our family of 4 fitted in pretty well and for a 4 night stay it was ideal.

Would be helpful if there was a bit more clarity about what equipment is in the kitchen.

Fantastic location, beautiful surroundings

Fantastic location and friendly staff. I organized a group weekend for a special occasion and the place exceeded everybody's expectations. Beautiful spot at the river Maggia, a lot of places to swim and rest at the river nearby. Close to rustico village, with hikes around. Although family oriented, there was no problem with organizing a party while adhering to quite time after 23:00. Many of my friends are impressed and that will definitely come back. The restaurant is serving very good meals and the shop has everything you need. Showers and toilets are cleaned thoroughly and often. good coffee and Aperol Spritz for 8 chf :) Bungalows are clean, modern and spacious.

Family bungalow have no sink, which is a little cumbersome when staying with the kid.

we stayed in the wooden house, it was nice and clean, a comfortable stay with the option to have some simple food prepared if needed as it is equipped with microwave and an electric cooktop. easy access to the river is a plus as well

It was fantastic that the chalets had air conditioning were clean and new. The beds were comfy too. There was a spot to swim in the river 2 mins away. Also plenty of parking. Supermarket open Sundays.

Just a couple of more things in the kitchen such as a knife and cutting board. Also to supply bin bags.

Superb

Lovely area, nice atmosphere in the camping, easy to park, check-in, and then use the buses. They made up the bed in the living room for our son. Chalet was comfortable, had air conditioning, and a very nice shower.

Needed some soap for the kitchen. It would have been nice to know all the amenities beforehand like the mini-golf, ping-pong tables, grilling stations, and one plate stove in the kitchen, enough plates, cups, forks, knifes and spoons, and water boiler. It was nice to find these things on site. The refrigerator could have been a bit bigger.

Would recommend.

Superb for holidays with toddlers. If you are looking for a stay away from children, this is probably not for you. Our toddler loved it, and she explored independently and felt right at home. The beautiful Maggia is right at your doorstep and is fun for adults and children alike.

Staff were extremely friendly, but sometimes a bit slow.

Nice camping feel in Chalet

- Next to the river, Nice playground for kids. Shop on site. - Chalet looks nice, sofa bed is enough for 2 (I slept with my baby). bed linin provided. - Good air climate system (both heater and air con works well) - Food (lunch & dinner) onsite was great choices and yummy.

- Bathroom floor is laminated and no floor mat. Shower wet then on to the wooden laminated? no no.. - Ants in chalet. Good that they do not bite. - Living room curtain is not block the light for whomever sleep in sofa bed. - No towel or bathroom amendities (Also no for rent). Maybe shower gel would be nice. Most of the guests stay in the chalet types are not prepared camping, so these convenience stuffs would be nice (we can pay a bit more higher room rate). - Breakfast is available at the restaurant (but not so good quality compare to the price). Lunch and Dinner were great though.

Wonderful camping in Maggia Valley

The camp staff are super kind and professional, speak many languages and always willing to assist to make your stay great. Big thank you to them! 😀 Facilities are excellent, modern and kept very clean. A highlight is the location. Right in nature in the Maggia valley next to a beautiful, rugged river.

Wifi is painful as you have to log in often with a combination of hotspot address and pin code. This would be OK if you had to do this once but it loses connection often. When it is connected the wifi works well.

The experience in general was good, with an amazing view and beautiful bungalows.. but it’s important to mention that the pool it’s only for children (or only appropriate for children).. we were disappointed when we arrived there and saw that we couldn’t enjoy the pool (like we thought by looking at the photos)

Tolle Lage direkt an der Maggia

- Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - Tolle Lage an der Maggia, Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, guter Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen und Wanderungen, kleiner Sandstrand in der Nähe - Saubere Häuschen, saubere sanitäre Anlagen - Waren schon einige Male hier und kommen sicher wieder!

- Duschen ist eine Herausforderung. Es ist kaum möglich, die Kleidung so aufzuhängen, dass sie trocken bleibt.

Unvergesslicher gemütlicher Aufenthalt

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön aus Holz gefertigt. Es hat einen geräumigen Vorraum mit Sofa und ein angrenzendes Schlafzimmer mit Lavabo. Die Veranda ist grosszügig und lädt zum Verweilen ein.

Zwischen Schlafzimmer und Vorraum wäre eine Schiebetüre praktisch.

Hab vierköpfige Familie und hatte extrem kleinen Kühlschrank, wo ich nicht Mahl Getränke kühlen konnte. Es war sehr heiß an den Tagen . Der große Tisch in Familien Bungalow musste nicht unbedingt sein. Besser ein größerer Kühlschrank ☺️.

Mooie locatie met basic huisje.

Mooie locatie in Val Maggia aan de rivier. Camping heeft prima voorzieningen.

Het huisje is erg basic. Het zou schelen als er in de beschrijving duidelijk zou staan dat er geen inventaris is in de bungalow, zoals bestek, glazen of borden. Als je wilt ontbijten of borrelen, dan zelf alles meenemen of kopen in de campingwinkel of in de bar vd camping.
