Hotel Winebox Valparaiso

Unique and well cursted design, great view, very convenient (but limited) parking, helpful staff, good breakfast, interesting wine selection.

There was no AC in the room, which wasn't an issue during our stay in August, but I assume in the summer it can be a bit hot.

The hotel itself was a unique experience. Very comfortable given the rooms are made from shipping containers. The views are absolutely stunning, being up on the hill. Also, the attention to detail was superb. The room is full of local wines to pick from. But what made the experience worth while was the service. The staff are so friendly and did everything they could to make sure I had a lovely time in Valparaiso. And I did! Thank you ladies!

Because you're up on the hill, you have to get an uber everywhere. But they're cheap, and it's worth it the pay off.

The view is amazing, unique! The room was very well-equipped and comfortable. The service was impeccable. Breakfast was brought to my room and was plentiful.

The bathroom was very cold and the shower wasn't completely clean. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers weren't working either.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay, even though there seemed to be very few staff members available to assist all the guests. The hotel has a unique concept, beautiful views, and a great location to explore Valparaíso.

While I understand and appreciate the container concept, the rooms are not very well insulated. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest, you can easily hear noise from neighboring rooms and outside. Also, the balcony was not completely clean when we arrived, as it had cigarette ashes and cigarette butts on the floor.
