it is a very special place. hidden away from all busy-ness. lovely surroundings. carefully picked interior, fitting to the ancient building. Fabrice is a great host: he is there but not there, so you feel looked after in a very pleasant way. PS we loved his cooking!

The history of the house. It is an amazing building. Fabrice was an attentive host, but we were hampered by our lack of french. Home made, lovely breakfast, eggs offered, very quiet in a very pleasant village, easily accessible.

This was an exceptional find!

This was an exceptional stop over for I and my wife. Dinner and breakfast were of a very high order. What was so nice was sharing the table with other travllers and sharing experiences etc. Wewould definitely use this location again if the need arose.

Lovely old Priory with friendly owners

This is a beautiful old priory with a lovely garden. We had the delicious evening meal with the owner and other guests, then breakfast in the garden the next morning.

A peaceful retreat but definitely a B&B, rather than a hotel.

Very peaceful.

This experience is not for everyone. You are a guest in the host’s house, so it’s a different atmosphere from a hotel. Don’t expect hotel service or facilities, but the host is very warm and attentive.

Like staying in a stately home!

Le Prieuré is a beautiful, antique-filled house. The common rooms and bedrooms contain many objets d'art interspersed with very modern design elements. Sleeping at Le Prieuré feels like being a guest in a small stately home. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was lots of space. We had the optional dinner, served family style, as well as breakfast; we were treated almost as family! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely repeat it!

The host is very friendly and communicative, but those who speak French will feel more comfortable.

Beautifull old house

Really special to stay in this old house. Welcome a little stiff, but well meant. Rooms are nice. We had two rooms and a huge shared bathroom that was very nice.

We stayed here with ‘table d’hote’ dinner. The food was good but way overpriced at 30 euro pp for (tasty) ratatouille with pasta and store bought ice cream as dessert

It was FANTASTIC!!!

This hotel was beyond expectations and so clean, beautifully decorated and cosy as well. The host Mr. Felice, his friendly son and Jacqueline gave us the feeling we were coming to visit relatives. The cooked an amazing French dinner and nothing was to much to ask for. This is a place we surely will visit again in the near future. Again, MARVELOUS!! Merci beaucoup Mr. Felice and staff. Der Gastgeber mit seiner freundlichen und hilfsbereit Art ist sehr positiv zu erwähnen. Das sehr gute regionale Essen hat uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Die ruhige Lage.

Für uns war bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich, dass das Badezimmer nicht im Zimmer ist, sondern über den Gang erreichbar ist. Da wir nur unsere zwei Zimmer waren und somit je ein persönliches Bad hatten, war dies für uns kein Problem.

Zeer de moeite waard

De atmosfeer en rust. Heerlijk na een onverwacht voorspoedige reis uit een winters Nederland. Wij waren de enige twee gasten, wat enerzijds prima was, anderzijds ook wel jammer. Na een drankje bij de open haard toonde Fabrice dat hij heeft heerlijk voor ons gekookt had en toonde zich een waardig gastheer. Jammer dat het zo behelpen met ons frans is... een ontbijtje in de ochtend met een houtkacheltjd in de rug in een gewelf stammen uit de 15e eeuw. Daar kan geen Novotel aan tippen. Prima geslapen in een klassieke kamer, waar ook ook onze hond in zijn reisbench lag. Prachtige ligging en je hoeft niet ver van de weg af. Aanrader als je een klassieke omgeving weet te waarderen.

Het licht in het dorpje ging om klokslag 21.00 uur uit en dan is het echt donker als je net je hond uitlaat. Goed dat ik altijd met zaklantaarnje op pad ga ...

A cozy experience

Ci è piaciuto tutto! La colazione ricca e abbondante, preparata con cura. L'attenzione nei dettagli, dalla tavola alle camere, tutto curato con precisione. Fabrice e la sua famiglia ci hanno fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. La nostra cagnolina ha passato il suo primo capodanno senza lo stress dei botti di capodanno, un vero sollievo. Le cene eleganti e il camino scoppiettante hanno reso il tutto magico. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci !

Le repas du soir est un peu onéreux. (Soupe, gratin dauphinois, plat de fromage et dessert pour 35€ 🫣) Le déjeuner était très bien 👍. Le pain 🍞 maison est excellent.
