We had a lovely stay at Shirin1892 in Nuwara Eliya. The house has a wonderful old charm dating back to 1892 and although the rooms are old, they were clean and comfortable. Our host Asela was incredibly kind and welcoming and we really enjoyed the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast served every morning!

Host was brilliant, really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. The breakfast was great.
The bathrooms are areas which probably need some maintenance and thorough improvements/repairs.

Stay was comfortable
It's a heritage bunglow with fantastic aesthetic.
The owner was extremely well behaved and accommodative.
The breakfast was good.
We took a family room. It was extremely large for us.
Great view from the premises. Walking distance from Gregory lake.
Overall great experience.
The bathroom could be little better. The bathtub does not work. One electric kettle inside the room could've been better.
Nothing to complain.

This place is totally fine for one night stop over stay. You have a big room with an en suite and the staff were very friendly and eager to please.
The property is in desperate need of some renovation particularly the bathroom which had a lot of damp
