We had a really lovely stay at the gîte for 2 weeks. The location was good for us as it was in a lovely rural location 5 minutes drive from the local town of Saint Sever and was lovely and quiet. We used the location to travel out to places in Normandy that we wanted to see including Bayeux, Mont St. Michel, the Normandy landing beaches. We also relaxed at the property reading and generally chilling out. The owners were lovely and met us at the beginning and end of our stay and left us in peace to enjoy our holiday. The property is clean and tidy and the gardens around the property are lovely and spacious. We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed ourselves.

Quiet location and presentation was lovely
Asked to pay 10 euros for taxes on arrival. Asked to pay 150. Euros deposit which we didn’t have on us! Asked to pay 30 euros if we didn’t want to clean the place on day of departure. But we cleaned it better than we found it! Not impressed
