A wonderful stay in rural Normandy - highly recommended!

The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for a family of 9. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and it was great fun having the goats, horses, and donkeys over the fence! The new swimming pool was a lovely addition. The owner Alex was lovely, very responsive, and always on hand when we had questions. Highly recommended!

One of the best cottages I’ve ever stayed in—comfortable, well-equipped, and truly relaxing.

The house is amazing! The bedrooms are very spacious, and the showers are excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, and there’s a large dining table that’s perfect for meals. The living room is really comfortable and cozy. All in all, this is one of the best—if not the best—cottages I’ve ever stayed

The bedrooms could benefit from a small wardrobe, it’s not a downside at all—everything else more than makes up for it.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf!

Wij verbleven hier in de kerstvakantie met vrienden en onze 4 kinderen. De eigenaren van deze vakantiewoning hebben er heel veel liefde en aandacht in gestoken om het de vakantiegangers naar de zin te maken. Het huis is heel ruim, mooi ingericht, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij waren er in de winter, dus dagelijks beide kachels aan. De keuken met eethoek is heel erg ruim. Dan is er een leuke speelkamer/bar waar de tieners zich vermaakten met darten en tafelvoetbal. De woonkamer is ook heel gezellig en ruim. De badkamers en slaapkamers zijn ruim en schoon. De bedden goed. Voor sommige misschien iets aan de harde kant. Overal zijn er elektrische rolluiken. De omheinde, afgesloten door een elektrisch hek, tuin is heel ruim en geeft een heel erg fijn gevoel van privacy. De communicatie met de eigenaresse verliep heel soepel en positief. Ze doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Er lagen heerlijke versgebakken koekjes voor ons klaar bij aankomst, heerlijke drankjes en een vers taartje in de koelkast. De omgeving is mooi. Er zijn diverse fietsroutes. Op loopafstand is er een mooi stuwmeer waar je ook een mooie route kan wandelen. Mont Saint Michel ligt op een uurtje rijden. Omaha Beach en de Normandische kust liggen iets verder, maar goed te berijden. Op een kwartier rijden bevindt zich een grote centre commercial met Lidl, Leclerc, Action etc. In de zomer is het omheinde zwemband geopend. Dat zag er erg mooi uit. Kortom, echt een hele grote aanrader!

Super séjour cocooning en famille

Le calme, la décoration cosy, la taille du gîte -idéale pour une famille- le nombre de chambres, de canapés, de salle de bains et de WCs. La cuisine aussi, grande et vraiment très bien équipée ! Ainsi que le grand jardin clos idéal pour nos 3 chiens (merci encore d'avoir accepté nos amis à 4 pattes !) Les 2 cheminées allumées avant notre arrivée, et les attentions gourmandes (gros panier d'accueil et bûche pâtissière dans le frigo). Un régal :p Les photos sont conformes à 100%. On recommande !

Un séjour au top dans un gîte exceptionnel.

Un super gîte dans un endroit très calme en plein campagne. Une hôte disponible et très sympathique qui nous avait réservé des pâtisseries pour notre arrivée . Le jardin est très grand et complètement fermé ce qui est l'idéal pour les chiens (nous en avions trois et la propriétaire a accepté cela sans hésitation). Les équipements sont au top et le confort très bon. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable. Gîte à vivement recommandé.

Groot en mooi huis, met een heel mooie tuin. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig in het huis. Iets waar je rekening mee moet houden, is de locatie: heerlijk rustig, maar wel wat verder rijden als je iets wil gaan bezoeken.

Heerlijk genoten in een mooi verzorgd huis waar alles was wat je nodig had.

Het huis is prachtig gelegen naast een wei met hun geitjes, paarden en ezels. Binnen is alles heel mooi ingericht en proper. En in de keuken stond alvast allerlei lekkers klaar om ons welkom te heten. Ieder had er zijn eigen kamer. Zo konden onze tieners zich rustig even terugtrekken na een wandeling of plons in het zwembad. En als het minder weer was, had je binnen ruimte genoeg om het ook gezellig te maken. Winkels zijn er op een 20 minuutjes rijden. Verderop ligt het Lac du gast waarrond je ook een leuke wandeling kan doen En verder hebben we ook uitstapjes naar Mont Saint Michel (veel volk!) en Omaha beach gedaan. Met kleine of grote kinderen of enkel volwassenen iedereen kan er heerlijk genieten. De eigenaars hebben in Brecey ook een bakker met lekker brood en gebak. Aanrader!

Merveilleux séjour en Normandie dans le Ranch Madelaine :)

La maison est parfaitement bien équipée, lumineuse, propre et bien décorée. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le lieu, la proximité des ânes, poneys et biquette. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par les attentions délicieuses de nos hôtes dans le frigo et sur le plan de travail de la cuisine. Les hôtes ont été charmants. La maison parfaite

Une jolie parenthèse cocooning en famille.

Absolument tout ! Nos trois générations ont séjourné dans un petit coin de paradis. Le Ranch de Madeleine et ses hôtes sont si accueillants. Boulangers, ils nous offert le pain et les pâtisseries. Le MUST au regard du logement parfait à nos yeux. Tout est équipé parfaitement. Il ne manque RIEN. Les cheminées étaient toutes deux déjà allumées et apportaient une note supplémentaire à notre week-end (exemple : le film en famille sur les canapés confortables au coin du feu). La petite dernière de la famille fût conquise par l'enclos juste devant la maison. Elle a passé beaucoup de temps à pu les animaux. Nous ne pouvons que recommander le Ranch de Madeleine.

Parfait séjour en famille

On a été super bien accueilli avec de petites attentions à notre arrivée. La presence d'animaux de la ferme a été très apprécié par nous et notre bébé qui demandais à les voir tous les jours. Les equipments sont au top en plus des cheminée en cette période hivernale! Que du bonheur! Super moment en famille. On y reviendra si l'occasion se presentera à nouveau
