Atmosfere Puniche b&b

Marieke, the owner, takes great pride in her beautiful eclectic B&B. Our large room was spacious, comfy king bed and private attached bathroom. Everything was super clean. This historic palazzo, has many modern touches, and the location is in the historic center yet in a very quiet location: literally an oasis from this busy tourist filled city. Tons of restaurants, bars all around. Her daily personally prepared breakfast was excellent, fresh, filling and beautifully presented. She is gracious, helpful and was able to coordinate a taxi service to take us to the airport. (Take advantage of this if you want a private transfer service). Highly recommend and we would definitely return here in the future.

WOW!!!! One of the best hosted B&Bs we have ever stayed at in the world !!! Marika’s home is absolutely stunning, layered with perfectly curated collections, this property is superbly designed with an absolute amazing eye for detail and an absolute delight to walk around It was such a beautiful blend of an Ancient stone building , incorporating contemporary design and finishes, the open glass floor in one of the living rooms had a view of an old well , from days gone by The breakfasts she prepares every day come straight from her huge Sicilian heart and you feel it in every bite … She even advised us on some amazing restaurants and helped book them for us , she was also very knowledgeable about everything in the area and we loved having someone who had that much passion for her home and country The bedroom was amazing, beds we huge and so comfortable, we overslept a few times, because of how comfy they were She also offered to help us with transfers to and from the airport, with an amazing driver who dropped us right at the front door , and cheaper than any transfer we tried to organise ourselves I can’t speak more highly of the time we spent here , I only wish we had more time to stay , as it truly was one of the highlights of our 9 week Europe trip

The breakfasts were superb and each day was a different Sicilian speciality prepared by our wonderful host, Marika. Our room with its courtyard, a bonus on the stay, was so comfortable.

Everything was great, Marika went out of her way to make us feel at home and we felt we left as friends.

This is our first visit to Sicily but one of many to Italy . The warmth of welcoming we received from Marika was wonderful the best in Italy . We were in her home and treated as a the best guests. The room was huge and beautifully furnished with interesting furniture and art . The bathroom was spacious and the air conditioning perfect . We were served a Sicilian breakfast carefully prepared every day by Mariela. The tastes and variety were again very special . The location is also ideal for visiting Palermo . There really is no where better to stay in Palermo
