B&B Hotel Palermo Quattro Canti

Great location near squares & restaurants.

There was no light near the sink & mirror. Parking is in a narrow underground space. My (rental) car had to be parked by a hotel staff member. Information about this was not clear until I had arrived.

Great location. Lovely rooftop breakfast spot. My room was really quiet at night.

It was a little chilly at night. Maybe more blankets needed in the room.

The location was excellent, in the historic centre, 15 minutes walk from the train station, just in front of a famous piazza, two minutes from Quattri canti where there is a street full of restaurants (there is a fish restaurant that is excellent), 5 minutes from Lidl and a very good Chinese restaurant, 10 minutes from the cathedral and the other way, 10 minutes from the harbour. The room was very big and clean, the bed and pillows comfortable enough, the shower had a bit of mould but never complaint about it. The soap, shampoo, shower gel seems all the same but good enough. The breakfast a bit too repetitive, no bananas, but they have Nutella, so good enough. The views from the terrace/restaurant/breakfast area are quite impressive. The staff very nice. At reception, there are snacks and other things at reasonable prices. No noises, so very good night sleep. Got two free bottles of water, thanks.

The restaurant in the hotel, at night, the menu choices weren’t great, the food either, a bit pricey and you cannot charge it to the room but maybe somebody else would like it, depending on your food tastes. The waiters and manager were kind enough. Toiletries, there is room for improvement. No snacks, soft drinks in the empty fridge. I think you are missing an extra income opportunity.

Excellent location and attentive staff.

Poor ventilation: mold in shower, A/C didn’t work properly despite visits from staff; we asked for a fan to circulate the air but didn’t receive one. Temperature never dropped below 26. It may have just been our room but we weren’t offered an alternative.
