A charming old hotel with a lot of character. The building may be a bit aged, but everything was spotless and well maintained. The location was absolutely perfect — we even got a corner room overlooking two streets, with a direct view of Musée Granet. Waking up to that view made the whole stay feel very Aix. We would definitely come back if we visit Aix again.

My room was beautiful with tall ceilings, beautiful light, an armoire and definite Old School Charm. Really, there was so much charm I felt like I was in some old French movie. Because my trip was spur of the moment, I had to change rooms the last day and it was seamless and perfect. I did prefer the more simple room to the room I stayed in the last night. But this was because of the light and the view and the vibe.
Staff is lovely too, friendly, warm, authentic. They speak multiple languages so even if you don't speak French, you will feel well taken care of.
I honestly can't wait to go back.

This was a charming hotel that I would not hesitate to stay at again. If modern conveniences are important to you this might not be a first choice, but the old world charm and superb location made this a wonderful stay for my wife and myself.
