    Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and unfortunately, it left us with a very poor overall impression. After a six-hour journey from another part of the country, we asked the hotel reception where we could quickly exchange money. While we were in the middle of checking in and had already handed over our passports to the receptionist, he directed us to a nearby location on foot without informing us that our passports might be required for the exchange. As a result, we wasted approximately 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue, standing outside in the heat while our taxi driver waited to be paid. What made the situation even more frustrating was the receptionist’s response when we returned. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience or offering a simple apology, he only defended himself. A little understanding and professional courtesy would have made a significant difference. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The toilet facilities were in poor condition, and the room amenities provided were barely sufficient for one person. Although the in-room dining service was quick, the food was tasteless, and we could barely eat it. We also called reception to have our food cleared, but it was never collected. Even when we checked out, the food was still sitting outside our room door. Overall, the lack of attention to detail, poor handling of guest concerns, and disappointing room and dining experience made our stay far less comfortable than expected. The initial incident could have been handled much better with proper communication and a simple apology. Unfortunately, the way it was handled significantly affected our impression of the hotel.

    For the single night the paid amount is too much. It had a sea view opening. The staff was incredibly helpful with the checkin and checkout. Really appreciate them. I would recommend going out for food

    The hotel is about 8 years old, but the overall maintenance is severely lacking. During my short one-night stay, I ran into numerous issues: Bathroom Defects: The main shower head was dirty and broken. The hand shower hose was snapped—leaving a sharp edge that posed a serious risk to my hand—and was unhygienic. On top of that, the sink basin water barely drained. Property Damage & Leaks: Rainwater leaked directly into the room through the windows. Outside in the hallway, the corridor ceiling panels were damaged and looked ready to collapse. Unfortunately, I was unable to upload my photos to Agoda due to technical issues, but the conditions were unacceptable. This property was definitely not worth the money given the poor upkeep and safety hazards. The only redeeming feature is its location, which offers perfect and easy access to everywhere in Colombo. I hope management addresses these critical maintenance concerns quickly.
