Beautiful view on a cute side street. Well equipped kitchen though strange layout with fridge in a separate room.

I never leave negative reviews but I feel the need to warn people to not stay here… Moldy smell throughout but especially in the kitchen. Bathroom smelled horribly of sewage. We had to avoid the bathroom it was so bad. Very small bedrooms with uncomfortable beds and pillows. Poor lighting. Easily tripped breakers if plugging in the heater provided so were unable to use the portable heater and the mini split heater did not work. Issue with checking in - we’re not given the actual address but told to meet at the door. Had to ask around and found a local who pointed us to where he knew a rental unit was -luckily that ended up being our rental! We are all very fit and able bodied and still struggled with the steep narrow stairs to the top floor apartment. I read the reviews about these stairs and assumed we would be fine as we are all athletes, we were wrong. They are dangerous stairs. The door to the entrance of the staircase does not lock even though we were given a key. The door to the apartment was extremely difficult to unlock. Shower was small with a moldy shower curtain that would stick to your body while you showered due to how small the shower was. We were told checkout was at 11 but at 10:15 the cleaning people came and were very unhappy we were still there. We have to rush out to accommodate them. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this rental. If it was 50€ cheaper per night then it would be okay, but this was the most expensive place out of the 4 locations we stayed in Portugal and by far the worst experience.
