This charming apartment renovated in 2011 is on the ground floor of the most picturesque quarter of Lisbon – Alfama. It has plenty of sunlight and offers spectacular views over the Tejo river and city monuments.
Perfectly located between the most popular viewpoints Miradouro de Santa Luzia and Miradouro das Portas do Sol where you can enjoy a coffee on the esplanade, contemplate the beauty of the city and visit the Museum of Decorative Art. It is just a few steps away from Lisbon's cathedral, the Sé, São Jorge Castle, Santo António church (Lisbon’s popular saint) as well as the famous flea market Feira da Ladra. From this apartment you can explore the rest of the city walking to Baixa, Bairro Alto or Chiado.
The apartment is totally equipped and well served by public transports like the old fashioned n.º 28 tram, tram n.º 12, the mini-bus 37 (their stop are 3 minutes walking distance from the apartment) and it is also at a walking distance to the train station and subway Santa Apolónia. Nearby you have all kinds of traditional commerce, bars, restaurants and the traditional Fado houses.

Check-out – 11.00 a.m.
For arrivals later than 21:00 pm there is an extra-charge of 30€ and the latest check-in time is 02:00 a.m.

What a wonderful location. It really is the heart of Lisbon. We met locals, listened to Fado, saw Beautiful churches ate wonderful food, and had amazing views. Thank you to our host. It wasn’t luxury, but the location had tours passing by on a regular basis. The door stick so you have to giggle it a bit to get it open, but we loved having such a central and interesting location to have as a center, everything is very walkable, and so interesting!

Staying in this apartment in Alfama was a fantastic experience. Yes, you’ll need to climb a few stairs to get there—but that’s part of the charm of the neighborhood, and absolutely worth it. The views are stunning, and the location couldn’t be better: just steps away from some of Lisbon’s most beautiful miradouros, and right in front of the Santa Luzia elevator.The apartment itself is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.The location is also perfect for experiencing Lisbon’s famous fado scene, with several traditional restaurants just nearby. We especially recommend the experience at “A Baiuca” — an unforgettable evening.A special mention to Monica, who is a wonderful host. She communicates quickly and clearly, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish.Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic and scenic stay in Lisbon!

The GoodThe host appeared friendly and communicative. However we did not need much support as we had been to Lisbon before, so contact was at a minimum. Self check-in and check-out was super easy and straight forward. Location and especially the view from the flat are phenomenal. Good way to keep some calories in check going up and down the Alfama stairs. The apartment is a good size, nice water pressure in the shower and the kitchen has all the basics required during a city trip. We also enjoyed some of the cute decorations like the mid century lamps. The BadThe apartment is somewhat tired and felt a bit sticky overall. And be aware it smells very very musty and damp in there. We had to sleep in the living area as the bedroom area is very small and you couldn’t open the window to air it out. Which really took value for money away and made our stay somewhat uncomfortable and not very well rested. If you have allergies or issues with sinuses this may not be tolerable. Fanning towers are provided but they genuinely need a clean as they are full of dust.
