Mini break in a hidden gem

Compact but very nice, well furnished, great location.

I struggled to sleep in the (unusual for the uk) heat! Proximity to the church bell curtails any dream of a lie in!

Great location. Lovely flat. Hosts had left a fully comprehensive book of things to do/where to go/recommendations and general instructions which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again

Fantastic location and love that the apartment is in a renovated building. Really lovely touch of having a bottle of Prosecco too. The communication from Gary from when we booked the room until making sure we accessed the property ok was brilliant.

Comfy, characterful accommodation. Surprisingly spacious and everything thought of.

Here is a host who has genuinely thought of everything, from the overall look and feel of the stunning accommodation to making sure plug sockets are where needed. Fabulous guide provided to property and area and very kind gift of chocolate, milk and Cava sparkles on arrival. A great stay in lovely Warwick.

We liked everything. The location is noisy at night, but the payoff is everything on the doorstep.

Great comfortable stay

I loved the character of the property and that it is central enough without the noisiness of the centre. The facilities in the apartment are much better then a hotel

The bells from the church next door was a surprise, starts at 7am and end at 10pm. The first day I thought they might go on all night but was ok and no need of an alarm clock!

location was excellent. the apartment itself was lovely. great facilities. the instructions to get in etc were excellent. Warwick is a great place for a long weekend.

very slight negative only…a small thing only. The windows seemed to let in the street noise. You expect a little noise as it’s on the street. Secondary double glazing in the bedroom would probably save on heating cots too.

This property was a great choice and made for an excellent stay. The owner/manger’s communication made it simple and easy from start to finish. The recommendations, information and apartment were top notch. I understand previous comments re the entrance hallway but is insignificant and minor.

An excellent stay in Warwick..

Even before we arrived Gary had already set the tone for an excellent stay.. We were provided with detailed information about access to the apartment, local parking and points of interest worth visiting.. As for the apartment itself, it was really clean and very well laid out, as soon as we entered we felt at ease.. The location is spot on, Warwick Castle and the main town centre are both literally a few minutes within walking distance.. To summarise, we had a great stay and will no doubt be back again in the future..

We loved it and Warwick was brilliant! :)

We loved the access to the property via two (matching) codes. This really helped us as sometimes you only get one key and we sometimes do things independently. We loved the arrival message and bottle of fizz/milk (although we didn't need the latter!) The layout and spec of the apartment was brilliant. We just are perhaps getting a little bit too old for the spiral staircase now (even though our eyes loved it)...though we then found the secret access on the second floor via the bathroom, which we used on our check out to pack/get the luggage out/stay in one piece. Gary's communication throughout was excellent. He encouraged us to text when we arrived/checked in/out and was happy to answer any questions. The location was brilliant. We just were so lucky - and last minute too.

This is not the proprietor's fault at all, but the recommendation of the Rose and Crown did not work for us. We went for breakfast and unfortunately it was lacking in some items on the menu - and cold. That said, we did manage to get it for free when we mentioned to the staff - but it put us off revisiting. Hopefully they have sorted themselves out now. We know it is a shared building, but we think if you spent a bit on cleaning up/freshening up the smell in the entrance/stairwell, this would really improve things. The dust and odour could have put us off - but it didn't!
