Extremely clean cottage with great view right on Croagh Patrick at the back.
The kitchen is very well equipped for every day cooking. The washing machine and dryer are a huge plus.
Plenty of room for a family of 4. We had a very pleasant stay despite the horrible weather.
We were disappointed with the view from the front of the cottage as we were expecting a sea view like on the picture. The view is actually on the owner's house.
The sitting room area isn't welcoming. The couch (different from the pic) isn't confortable and there should be a table so we can all gather there as a family.
We weren't aware that the water was yellow, which came as a huge surprise on our first lunch. But there is a filter in the kitchen sink. đź‘Ť

This cute little cottage behind a family home was super clean, exceptionally well equipped, and very comfortable. We appreciated laundry facility and the provision of soap. I loved that, though self catered, there were a few basics like cooking oil, salt, sugar, coffee and even a carton of milk. MOST hospitable. We had plenty of room for three of us in two bedrooms. Very nice seating areas as well. Best of all, right across the road from a lovely seaside walk or bike ride. Also just down the road from an exceptional restaurant (The Tavern). 15 minutes from lovely music pubs in Westport, too. Easy wifi. Our only regret was not having more nights here! The place is a little hard to find. *follow the instructions exactly using the GPS coordinates*
We wished we had a hand towel in the bathroom, but may have been an omission.
