Farnaught House

The most stunning views of the mountains and the bay. The most scenic view from an accommodation that I have ever seen. Lovely, helpful hosts. The accommodation is about a 7 minute drive from the town, at the end of of a long, windy countryside road, and Mr Hyland kindly gave us a lift into town because we were planning on having a few drinks. He also showed us where to eat in town and where the Town Hall theatre was located as we were attending a concert there. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The room was lovely and warm and there was tea, coffee, fruit, porridge/oatmeal, water and breakfast biscuits available in the room. Plenty of hot water in the shower. They offered to collect us after our night out if we were unable to secure a taxi home. Highly recommend this B & B. A very peaceful location and comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.

This is a very picturesque location. A bit off the beaten track but that is part of the appeal & easily reached from Westport in a few minutes by car. Hosts were very friendly & helpful. Wonderful vista from our room. Would highly recommend this property.

The only thing missing is a room TV, but you can use the TV in the lounge area.

Great location, quiet without being too remote

Amazing view. Comfortable and clean room that had everything that we needed

As I advised the owner, we were kept awake for two nights from the room next door that the family members were staying in. The fact it is a homestay (room in a family home) I didn't feel was explicitly advertised
