We would not stay here again. Our room cost €199 for the night and yet we got better customer service and amenities at the camping ground we had stayed in the night before for €85. First: Customer service was very poor; it seems as if the hotel doesn’t have enough staff or ability to cater for the different parties using their grounds, and that affected our stay. After checking in, it became clear that the hotel couldn’t offer breakfast in the morning because they didn’t have the staff; the next morning we did find someone on the grounds to make us a coffee but he simply said “sometimes hotel staff need weekends too”, when we mentioned that they weren’t offering the chance to have breakfast at the hotel. Second, and related to there not being enough staff: after we checked in, we were told the hotel restaurant was closed for a private function (which also overlooks the river) and half of the grounds were being rented out for another private party, so our only food option (at a hotel which advertises the high quality of its restaurant) were a handful of meal options from a food truck, which cost us €100. That food truck ended up closing at 6:30pm due to inclement weather, and with the handful of hotel staff focused on closing up for the night, we went to our room for an early night. The rest of our stay was really odd: the room had few basic amenities (no coffee or tea point, no info about the hotel), and most of the building was locked up with lights out. Overall, we would not recommend. If the hotel doesn’t have the staff to run a normal and fully functioning hotel, they shouldn’t be renting out rooms for almost €200/night to hotel guests. It’s not worth it.

Nice location in the historical place of Schloss Beuggen, just on the Rhein river. There is well equipped bike storage room. Friendly staff able to help. Staying in B&B the access to the main building and reception may be closed early in the morning.

Het personeel, het eten en de parkeerplaats waren slecht. Brouwerij en wijnbar waren niet open, terras aan de Rijn was ook niet open. Ontbijt bijboeken kost 40 euro voor 2 personen als je via Booking.com hebt gereserveerd. Parkeerplaats was ver weg, dus als je op doorreis bent moet je auto onbeheerd laten staan of helemaal leeghalen en de volgende ochtend weer inladen.

Die Unterkunft war direkt am Radweg.

Ich wurde empfangen wie ein Kunde 2. Klasse, weil ich über Booking. com gebucht habe und nicht direkt. Bei Direktbuchung war beim Zimmerpreis von 169€ das Frühstück enthalten und bei Buchung über Booking.com nicht. Für das Frühstück musste ich extra 40€ zahlen, weil Booking.com 15% Provision verlangt. Der Schlüssel der Zimmertür klemmte. Die Nachttür mit Code war defekt. Frühstück war Standard.

Schöne Lage und Anlage. Zimmer schön und modern.

Junior Suite ohne Kühlschrank. Potenzial der Anlage wird nicht genutzt. Eher für große Feste geeignet. Zu wenig Gäste deshalb nur Frühstückspakete.

Schöner Blick auf Innenhof und auf den Fluss. Guter Startpunkt für Radtouren.

Ich habe falsch gebucht (4er Suite für 2 Pers.). Sie haben sich alle Mühe gegeben die Buchung zu ändern. (eBookers, nicht möglich) Obwohl sie nichts dafür konnten, haben sie mir eine super Lösung angeboten!!! Danke.
