Fish Island Bungalows

Mr Leng and his wife were both extremely friendly and hospitable. The bungalows have so much more character and charm than a hotel room, I highly recommend staying here and supporting a local family and business. Two delicious, inexpensive and substantial breakfast options are available that come with a barista brewed coffee by Mr Leng. Dinner options are also available. The rooftop bar area has stunning evening river/city views over Kampot. The accommodation is within a walkable distance to Kampot city centre, otherwise Passapp and Grab are very cheap travel options to use.

M. Leng really is the best host! So welcoming, friendly, honest, and truly caring for his guests' well-being.

Me Leng and his family were super helpful in the lead up to the visit. We wassupped! He also booked us our transfers and helped with organising the tuk tuk. Breakfast was nice too.

The electricity in the room might need some reviewing as when we tried to have the kettle and the fridge on, the lights didn’t work. We forgot to tell Mr Leng upon departure but am sure he will look into it when he reads this :-)

- Location. - Rooms were rustic and as my daughter said : "cool". - quiet - good view of the river from their roof top bar. Bought dinner (crabs etc) outside and ate facing the river. -owner provides island tour in the evenings

- Signage a little bit small. Missed it a few times looking for it. -No space for proper parking. If driving a pick up or SUV, it will be a challenge.
