A beautiful and spacious place to stay, but be aware that you might not get a good night's sleep due

The property is spacious and pleasant, with only a few bungalows, which creates a private atmosphere. I stayed in Unit 7, the furthest from the entrance, so there was no foot traffic passing by. The room was large, and the bathroom was impressively big, which was a nice touch. Everything was clean; although the linens weren't brand new, they were well-maintained, and the towels were decent.

The biggest issue was the ongoing construction right next to the hotel. No one warned me about this before or after booking. On Sunday morning at 8:30 AM, the noise was unbearable—it felt like they were drilling right into my wall. I contacted the staff via WhatsApp, but they simply replied that there was nothing they could do. Although the noise eventually stopped after I spoke to someone in person, the lack of transparency about the construction was very disappointing.

Our favourite villa so far. Would stay again.

Friendly staff, nice pool area, good AC and you can get food right there for a good price. Close to Canggu but a little bit away from the chaos so it’s nice and peaceful especially when sleeping at night.

There were some dead bugs in the mosquito net surrounding the queen bed, but they cleaned it right away after we brought it up.

We had the private villa with pool and the little outdoor space with the pool was perfect. Very clean and cozy pool! The kitchen area was very dirty but we didn’t use it tbh.

The staff are very nice and helpful! But the facilities are outdated, the bed mattress was extremely old and uncomfortable and there were multiple times that I encountered cockroaches in the bathroom. The booking was also almost cancelled at the last minute thru their main office even tho it was already confirmed and paid for. We were contacted the night before we flew out and told (in the most confusing manner) that our booking was pushed out to the following month. We eventually sorted that we could still stay if we agreed to leave one day early, which we did.

Great value, great location, very comfortable!

Excellent value for money, especially for the villas with private pool. I also found the location perfect in terms of closeness to things to do yet also peaceful. Exceptionally nice and helpfull staff.

A tiny bit awkward to have the bathroom downstairs from the bedroom, and wish there was a larger coffee table in the main living area, otherwise no real complaints.

Amazingly awesome!! Would definitely come back

We like our view (garden view) from the room. We loved the pool and how beautiful the landscaping was inside the premises. There was an amazing kitchen with the required utensils. Place was clean and well maintained. I love the whole vibe❤️ Staffs were so amazing and sweet and were really helpful with all of our needs. We met the owner and he is such a lovely soul. We enjoyed every bit of our stay at the cangguu Wooden Green Paradise.

Restful stay

We were greeted by friendly staff with welcome drinks. Bags taken straight away and escorted to our villa with private pool. Villa was spacious and airy. Bathroom was clean and had all that we needed. The outside kitchen lacked cooking utensils to cook a dinner. Could have done with more pots and pans and spatulas. We had a 5/6 hour power cut across Canggu. Staff were not fourth coming in checking or coming to update guests, I had to ask several times for updates. No cold drinks were offered due to the air conditioning not working which was very disappointing. The freezer defrosted and leaked water where I slipped holding a saucer which I cut myself on. The staff subsequently charged me for the broken plate on departure which I was very disappointed with. There was building work next door so lots of banging and drilling throughout the day which then lead to some issues with pipe work leaving the bathroom smelling bad and the kitchen sink blocking. The resort as a whole was quiet with guests, which was lovely, so being by the main pool was very peaceful. There was a good spot to watch the sunrise each morning. There are two dogs Falcon and Apollo who you will see around regularly. Very friendly and well natured.

Excellent place and service

We were greeted by Mr. Widi upon entering the place. We were served drinks and oriented about the place. Since we were staying during Nyepi, the staff reminded us of the dos and don’ts and were very accommodating. The place was clean and smelled good upon entering. The food service was delicious. The room air conditioning was cold and the wi-fi was fast. My only concern was that the water from the bidet had some kind of smell. The amenities like the pool was very accessible and clean. They also have motorcycle rental that was very cheap and hassle free. I love this place!

Nice stay in Munggu

Really nice stay in Munggu. Located near the beach (5 minutes by motorbike), near the rice fields and near Canggu (15 minutes by motorbike). Room looks like the pictures and it is very cozy. The pool was very appreciated and clean. The staff is friendly and they clean the room daily. The presence of a private kitchen (with fridge, stove, and utensils) was really appreciated.

Very nice villa, but avoid for now, noisy construction going on

The villa itself is super nice, good furniture, layout, private pool etc.

Didn't like that the property didn't disclose that there are construction happening in their own property at the time of booking. we were given a villa and to every direction next to the villa, there was construction and extremely loud even after 10 pm. Now if it was their neighbours doing it, I would have been kinder with the review. But not disclosing your own construction is not a good practice.

Family holiday

Pool was great and the landscaping was beautiful. Staff were friendly and beds were comfy.

Unfortunately the description of property is incorrect, we booked for 4 adults and 1 child (1 couple, 1 baby & 2 single adults) and the write up and booking confirmation said it was 2 large beds & a sofa bed in one of the 3 living rooms. However there is just 1 outdoor living area for the 2 bed villa and no sofa bed. Luckily the other 2 single adults were able to share the bed but that was not what we booked/expected.

Fine for the price, but private villas were smaller than expected.

The private villa is small and compact, but makes use of the space well. Staff were attentive and helpful, you could book most things via WhatsApp. We got room service, which was delicious, and also arranged for some laundry to be done (which smelled really lovely!). There were some small, friendly resident dogs that greeted us when we arrived and left the property. They were very gentle and didn't come unless called, in case you are scared of dogs. I particularly liked the design of the pool, which had a shorter terrace built into it so you could lounge comfortably with only half of your body in the water.

The pictures of the villa with a private pool on the listing were misleading. I thought we would have a view of the rice fields from our pool and villa as per the photographs, but our villa was actually enclosed with some walls and no view. There is no television in the room. The toilet was very dark and water pressure was very weak. The water only ran at boiling hot until the hot water ran out, which was very quickly. We could also very clearly hear our neighbours on both sides. The hotel did provide earplugs for the evenings, but we didn't need them.

Great stay for 3 nights

The staff was very friendly, attentive and available at any time. The garden is beautiful und it feels so calm and relaxing. The room was clean and very nice. We rented a scooter from them, which was very easy and not too expensive. A scooter is definitely a good idea, because it is a bit outside. I can also recommend their laundry service. Very fast, clean and everything folded. All in all, it was a great stay and I would 100% recommend it.

Perfect place to relax

The property was beautiful. Very well maintained gardens with a lovely view. We stayed in a villa, which was nice and clean. There were a lot of bugs but it is expected for the area. Just keep the doors closed. They supply drinks in the fridge and also have breakfast available to order / as well as dinner which was really tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful!! We had a great stay here. If you are looking for somewhere more private and relaxed I would reccomend you stay here.

It was further than I expected from Canggu, we used gojek everyday which would take about 10-15min by scooter. It is perfect if you are looking to relax out of the busy tourist area. There was construction next door and events on at night in the area so really noisy! However not controllable.

The staff are so friendly and wonderful. we have stayed at this villa a few times and have always had a great experience. The private villas with the pool are our favourite place to stay at as they have everything we need and are very comfortable.

Loved how friendly and helpful the staff were, how often our rooms were cleaned, and our villa in general was beautiful. Our stay was very relaxing.

It’s a little far from the centre of Canggu if that’s where you are looking to spend most of your time (about a 15-20 minute drive).
