Home away from home!

☑️ Friendly hosts who made us feel at home ☑️ 2 min walk to laundry and 10/10 restaurant open for lunch and dinner ☑️ Extremely clean, spacious accommodation ☑️ Basic but tasty breakfast of toast with butter and assorted homemade jams, scrambled eggs, small bowl of fruit, orange juice, and tea/coffee. ☑️ Good location for visits to Tanah Lot and tours in West Bali ☑️ Rice fields surrounding the property, tranquil atmosphere compared to other cities in Bali ☑️ There was a small earthquake one of the nights of our stay and the host knocked to check we were okay ☑️ Hosts prepared hot breakfast when we needed it, some days 7am, some days as late as 10am ☑️ Very responsive to messages

There is a dog and two cats at the property. They are friendly, but it’s just something to keep in mind if you are allergic or scared of these pets. The accommodation itself and the surrounding area is peaceful, but it is a bit remote compared to city stays so if you’re looking for somewhere very close to a wide variety of activities, shops and restaurants, this may not be your ideal stay. For us, it was a welcome respite after staying in traffic-heavy and noisy Ubud and Uluwatu.

A magical place in Bali (11 over 10)

It is a wonderful place managed by a kind person. Pilou was a great great great (so on) host in a magical villa with an amazing homemade breakfast. Good suggestion for dinner in a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful sunset.

If you are looking for a peaceful oasis in a traditional village you have found the right place. The host worked previously as an architect and the attention to detail in the property shows - it really is beautiful. They can also advise on all of the quiet places to visit in Bali and help you plan your trip if you need help. The property is quiet and peaceful. I don't often leave reviews but when a place is this good it deserves it!

Great find in Nyanyi area, good base to explore Tabanan areas

First time in Nyanyi area, and Villa Pilou is probably one of the nicest properties you can find at that price point. We only stay 1 night but it provides for a comfortable stay in a new area, and that's the most important. The trip is actually to explore Tabanan areas west of Karambitan, but good quality budget-midrange accoms are harder to find, and thats how we stumbled into Nyanyi area and Villa Pilou. The owners/hosts (Pilou and wife) stay at the property and are a very welcoming and nice couple. Roger the dog and Sania the cat complete the whole experiences. Thank you.

Feels like home

Wonderful host, wonderful house! We came here to chill for a few days after having been stressed out by Denpasar… What a great choice this has been. Not only did we finally calm down, but we were warmly welcomed to the real Bali you only get to see if someone local shows you. We left with very helpful plans and recommendations for our trip. Great place to stay - highly recommended!

Very nice place not far from tanah lot. Comfortable and calm, the homestay mix modern and traditional design with success. Our hosts were particularly nice and welcoming and helped us plan our journey in bali.

Home away from home

The atmosphere really feels like home, you can relax, work on the kitchen table have a swim. The room has a lot of space, everything was clean and in good condition, and the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were always so helpful and attentive.

Owners are very nice people, good to talk to. Property is very nice, with a good sized swimming pool, lounge and a very comfy room.

The shared bathroom, between the rooms, were a bit tricky to manage because we couldn’t look the other room door. It actually happen being interrupted by the other guests while using bathroom.

The sweetest time in Bali

Great host, feeling like family! Nice tour around neighbourhood with rice field, bar, restrant and recomendations about the nearby sight seeing. The villa is very clean, quiet and chilled. Lovely dog and cats. Nice breakfast and coffee starts your day just like at home.

Heerlijke tuin met zwembad. Supervriendelijke eigenaren Pilou en zijn vrouw. Overheerlijk ontbijt. En de kamer was mooi ingericht en erg schoon.
