Excellent eco-friendly boutique resort in Tabanan, Bali.

The overall of eco-friendly landscape design, architecture, and service were excellent. It was wonderful to stayed here. The room was very clean with beautiful bathroom (with eco-friendly soap/shampoo products) and big swimming pool. There is a rice paddy field at the resort. The staffs were professional services and they also support disability people to work here. The food was really good heathy as well. We felt relax and recharge our energy for our body and mind here.

Just a minor thing which the resort can improved is the bathroom getting wet all part when it’s rain.

It was ok.

It was clean and staff were super friendly.

The villa I was given was not safe as it had 5 door-entry points, and a broken window that anyone could have entered. The doors were all flimsy and did not lock properly. I asked to change rooms and they obliged, but said they could not refund the difference. I moved to a smaller room, as it was safer. The TV in both the rooms I was in did not work.

Excellent, Exotic & Effulgent

We had an excellent stay from start to finish. This place really denotes it's name "Moksha". The hotel is surrounded by greenery and paddy field.The room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. Most importantly, staffs were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. Excellent options for breakfasts for adults and kids both. They have dining facilities and sometimes they run discounts as well. They came to know that after Bali trip we would visit India to celebrate my daughter's 2nd birthday with family, they immediately got a tiramisu and celebrated her pre birthday, whixh touched my heart. We visited Bali during our Christmas break to relax and rejuvenate so we took the advantage of couple massage as well as yoga classes. We enjoyed family pool time. You will get everything in house. The location was perfect, and everything exceeded our expectations. Tanah Lot temple is just 10 mins away.We would happily return and highly recommend this place.The driver allocated was extremely friendly and helpful.

Amazing

The private pool was excellent and we used it a lot during our stay. There were also two additional swimming pools available for hotel guests, both very good and offering amazing views. I also lost my wallet near the hotel entrance, and the reception staff found it and returned it to me exactly as it was. Truly outstanding honesty and service.

A lovely spot, the staff were amazing, from the reception team Iluh and Pianti who were so efficient and very thoughtful thank you! Through to Winda in the restaurant plus others who were so kind. Yoga was amazing, loved Jane’s incredible innovative classes they were a treat. Very spacious and quiet (most important). The villas were very well set-up and clean with all creature comforts.

The garden around the hotel and the pools are beautiful. The staff are great especially in the restaurant.

The pool villa is a disappointment need maintenance and renewable of things like toilet seat etc.if sold at normal price this would not make sense.

Lovely Resort with a very relaxed vibe

This place is a calm, beautiful oasis …the premises including the pools are so nicely designed and maintained, everything glows in a lush green. The staff is super friendly and so helpful, my room was great, the breakfast was very good and I enjoyed the yoga classes as well as the spa treatments a lot :)

Relaxing getaway.

Staff were amazing.I had 2 issues with my room which were dealt with immediately. Every staff member was absolutely so friendly and engaging. The location is not really close to much,but the setting is beautiful in rice paddies and lush gardens. Transport is easily organised and both drivers I used were great.

There is a bit of work going on currently,so construction noise was evident. The place is in need of some maintenance,especially the spa area. The spa was disappointing and overpriced for the services and the surroundings.

AMAZING BOOK IT.

I loved everything place was VERY VERY CLEAN their pools are Very clean too staff really nice stayed there approx 3 days bed did not smell bad at all I could lay comfortably bathroom was clean towels I could use them they smelled good floating Breakfast was AMAZING in the pool the small extra charge for breakfast in pool is worth it. Staff was very friendly

I did not like the toilet seat cover had plumeria wrap paper peeling and looked horrible being such a Beautiful place needs to be replaced

Beautiful resort, soulless dining

This resort is beautiful, set in a stunning environment.

One thing that really stood out as a downside is the dining area. It feels very cold and impersonal, a large hall with no real decoration or atmosphere. Both breakfast and dinner are served there, but it lacks warmth and character. There are very limited options to sit outside, which is a shame because the surroundings are the perfect setting to enjoy a meal outdoors instead of in the cold air conditioning. For me, this is a real drawback and therefor wouldn’t choose to extend my stay.

Tranquil Luxury Yoga

De Moksha is fantastic place. Embrace the yoga and relax. Clean, with fantastic villas, great at communicating with you, marketed as a luxury yoga retreat and that’s what it is. From little Eni in the spa with super strong fingers to Besral’s yoga, the king of the community riding with you through the rice fields or the restaurant staffs care and attention. The staff are a real factor for making this place tranquil and relaxing.

Wouldn’t say anything, come with the right expectations, this is not Seminyak or Kuta.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel!

The bedroom was amazing—spacious, stylish, and the bathtub was a dream. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. One of the most touching moments was when they surprised our daughter with a beautiful gift, knowing we were celebrating her—it made our experience even more special.

Just keep in mind it’s a bit far from Canggu if you’re planning to visit, but perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing escape away from the crowds.

Incredible stay that felt safe for a solo traveller.

As a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe at this resort, the staff are so accommodating and friendly which put me at ease. There are many other solo travellers at this resort which again made me feel safe. The resort itself is beautiful and felt like I was walking into the jungle! My villa was spotless and it had every essential bits you’d need for a relaxing stay. I treated myself to some spa treatments which was amazing, the lady that did my treatments was very respectful and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. The food was also delicious & the staff at the restaurant were very attentive!

The overall appearance outside the spa from the treatment rooms let the experience down a little bit (the rubbish) but I don’t believe this is connected to the resort.

Great value for money in a beautiful setting

We loved how the property looked with lush greenery, lots of room etc majority of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We loved our villa especially the bath! The meals and menu was divine in the restaurant and the Day Spa was amazing!

The neighbouring unit can see into our outdoor bathroom. The bed was not a comfortable mattress. There was no mention at time of booking that there is renovations taking place currently with noise happening.

The room was spacious and clean. Staff were incredibly lovely. The price we paid was really reasonable for such a lovely quiet escape. We had the pools to ourselves both days we were they. They were lovely and clean

The door to the lovely balcony area wouldn't stay shut unless using a key which was a bit odd . We planned in walking to Tanah Lot but gave up after a few hundred meters due to barking angry looking dogs which was definitely no fault of the resort but just pointing out to others thinking of walking.

Stunning location amongst rice fields, absolutely beautiful resort

Absolutely stunning resort. From the greeting in the car park to reception and restaurant, the staff are so professional and very welcoming and friendly. Such a great find, a little off the beaten track and certainly not in a touristy area, there is only 1 little restaurant next door which we didn’t try due to such a great food in the restaurant. Super comfortable beds with the very best linens. The rooms are well appointed, so if a luxury getaway in a peaceful resort is what you’re after here is where you’ll find it. If you’re into yoga and spa treatments then definitely try them out too.

Delightful yoga retreat.

We chose De Moksha because of the yoga classes and they were really great. Four classes to choose from and all the instructors were wonderful. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The staff delightful. The on-site restaurant was high quality, if a bit more expensive than outside places. We had a villa with a private pool which we loved but the other larger pools were great too. We used the bicycles to get to Tanah Lot and to the surfing beach.

Our wooden deck needed a bit of attention, it split in one spot. Although we used the bicycles they are not maintained very well. Another saucepan in the kitchen would be useful. Walking anywhere is challenging so best to go by bike or car.

A quiet and comfortable stay on a beautiful property amongst small villages and rice fields

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Hidden away from the cities in a very quiet location with wonderful facilities to relax and recharge. My wife enjoyed the yoga classes and our son enjoyed the pools. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are tremendous in their attention to detail making your stay very comfortable. The food at breakfast was delicious and even used the restaurant for our dinners which were great too. We also used the bikes to explore the quieter villages and rice fields in the area, which was a nice touch to have them available.

There are some wooden structures around that are wonderful but in need of a little TLC to bring them back up to top form. This doesn't compromise the function or comfort of the facilities though. The bikes could also use a bit of attention to keep them going but they also work well enough or now.

The bed was comfortable

The room wasn’t the room we booked. We complained to reception but they said it was correct. They said that our private hot tub we should have had was actually a normal bath! We should have had a separate bedroom-we did not. Cleaning was of a poor standard. Finally, our garden view was indeed a view of the local stream complete with the local sewage etc. Horrible.

Quiet and beautiful. Loved borrowing their bikes and riding to the beach. Food was delicious and good healthy choices. Staff were all very friendly. Would recommend for anyone wanting relaxing holiday.
