Central and great location for Cruise terminal

Everything was very clean. There were lots of useful things such as soap, lovely towels, shampoo, extra toilet rolls, washing up liquid, cooking oil, salt&pepper etc. A coffee machine and pods too. Shops are very close for anything you need. Lots of space for 6 people. Would recommend the NCP car park. Park on Level 8 and you can walk straight out to street then 3 mins walk to apartment. Down load the NCP app first to get QR code and its a bit cheaper. The small car park behind apartment has very few spaces.

The sofa bed is a bit dated and could do with a good clean where you unfold it but it was adequate for an extra child to sleep on and bedding was clean. Not enough places for 6 people to sit together to eat or watch tv. A bit noisy outside but we took earplugs after reading previous reviews and slept very well.

Very disspointed in all

Location is good for shopping, but noisy at night and late at night

A very disappointing and shocking experience on arrival, the hot Water stopped after a few minutes, the ironing board was broken, there was not plug on the sink hole or hand wash basin. We complained that two people were sent the problem was sorted the next day. The hot Water stopped. We reported then we had an EMail saying we have to use the plastic bowl under the kitchen sink for my husband to have a shave and boil a kettle for hot Water? The hot Water problem kept occurring, but we managed wouldn't go back again. There were only windows in front and no windows in the back, which couldn't get no air circulation as it was very hot few days

Not the best experience

Location was city centre - that in itself is a good thing. Most of the things are in walking distance, such as the sky and titanic Museum. Close to shopping area and we found a parking next to the old toys are us building that was only 4.5 pound for the day. Bedrooms were big, clean, and okay. Soap present and washing machine available. The hallway of the building is clean and smells nice.

The shower had mould at the ceiling - that is a health hazard. The bathroom floor wasn't the best either, worn out. The shower door was a killer for the ears if you don't know how to use it. Maybe a UK thing, but this one had to be tilted and then moved to the side, not tilting it before moving resulted in a sharp crystal noise like nails on a board times ten. The apartment was very warm even though outside was only 20 to 24 degrees. Not sufficient ventilation-there was an overall unpleasant smell. Not all windows closed/opened properly. The blinds are for early birds. The sofas smelled very dusty and are just too worn out. It was unpleasant to sit in them. Pans in the kitchen are worn out - again health hazard-we didn't use them because of it. the kitchen bin couldn't be closed - open lid. After a few days, the smell gets in the apartment, so either toss it out every day or don't throw any organic stuff in it. Overall, the vibe was negative compared to the wonderful pictures in the booking app. The area, city centre, smelled like urine and faeces a lot, which was overall unpleasant. Nothing related to the apartment. But there are lots of homeless people around.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE

nothing about this apartment was good other than location to everything. that said the windows weren't good and people were partying on the street to 4pm in the morning.

the apartment was booked for 5 people. when we got to the apartment, there was a room with 2 single beds that you couldn't even walk around. the kitchen dining room had a sofa bed and a foldable bed. there was no room for bags/suit cases or to even move. that night we pulled out the sofa bed to find the slots has broken so we were unable to sleep on it. we ended up having to sleep on the floor. on contacting the company, there was nothing done. no resolution, no apologise, nothing. on their own check-in link, the room stated 4 max. However, it was sold to us for 5 people. we had to check out and move to a hotel just to get a bed and some sleep. STILL NO CONTACT FROM THE COMPANY!@!@ this was a disgraceful apartment. stay clear at all costs

Spacious property in a good location anyone wanting an inexpensive landing pad in Southampton

The location was great, close to parks, shopping, train station, museums. The room was very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped.

Wifi was terrible. I had seen reviews about poor wifi from a couple of years ago, and presumed it had been corrected, but it was not. The instructions for wifi access were invalid, and once I was provided with wifi credentials, the service was terrible. Eventually we just got esims for our phones and used out own mobile devices. There was a residual smell from smoking in the property. Outside on the patio there were ashtrays overflowing with cigarette butts, and I suspect the property had been smoked in previously and the efforts to mask the smoke seemed to wear off faster than the smoke smell dissipated. We are not that sensitive, and could tolerate, but I know people who would have needed to find other accommodations.

Excellent facilities for the family and wonderfully located close to all things, including car parks and malls.

Nice spacious property. Clean fresh linen was provided. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom was there including salt and sugar, shower gel etc Coffee and tea were available. Tidy beds and location is close to everything ie Burger King, Greggs, Starbucks, mall etc Amazing, selfless, kind and honest staff. Left my wallet and staff went out of their way to ensure I got it back with all contents intact.

Can be very warm and windows don’t quite open wide enough due to safety catches. Summertime issue probably. A fan was already thankfully provided for the bedroom. Lounge could do with another. Night time can also be noisy due to speeding night-time Bus drivers coming round the corner in the street outside. May have to lobby for a speed camera close by to deter them going so fast and revving up their engines so high. Observed that it’s not done during the day due to pedestrian traffic. Again this probably isn’t a problem in the winter when windows can be shut, but only in summertime as we had windows open at night.

Central location, easy to walk around. very very clean, just like in the photos. you'll have everything you need, iron and board, washing machine and dryer, large living room and kitchen

noisy at night with it being so central. Lots of trucks and large vehicles pass by at night. really noisy on weekends, we had a group of teenagers making some noise right outside at 3 am and it was not pleasant

I would recommend Above the bar for families if visiting Southampton

The apartment was spacious clean and welcoming within the town centre just on your door step, plenty places to shop and find places to eat. The rooms was clean and well equipped with the necessary essentials in each room, the beds were very comfortable. Also I meet the Danni as we were ready to leave and she was so lovely had a little conversation we was supposed to clock out at 10:00 but told us it's okay to not rush. Very kind lady

Superb

Well equipped kitchen, fridge with a freezer compartment. There were 2 fans in the cupboard, which was great as it was hot.Great location. The communal roof terrace was nice to have a drink and sit in the sun.

Good central location. Large bedrooms and living space. Washer/dryer was good. Fans provided. Wifi.

Stairs access to property. Very limited crockery etc in kitchen. Bathroom very small and dark. TV online only but wouldn't work although didn't contact host to attempt to rectify this. Waited in for postal deliveries but Royal Mail seemed unable to find the property. Possibly just RM being hopeless.

Location. Sheets etc clean and beds comfortable, spacious and looked like the pictures.

Main areas very clean but dropped something down side of bed and it was disgusting. Oven didn't work and shower was little more than a dribble.

Blinds at the windows were not good at blocking out light and one was missing several slats. The double glazing was not great at blocking out street noise which went on until about 5am.

I think beds can be cleaner, sofa is old. For 3 people ok but when we were 4 it wasn't so comfortable for the person who was sleeping on the sofa. The beds in the rooms are ok.
