We had a leak in one of the bedrooms through the light fitting on the ceiling, wasn’t very clean. Broken blind in other bedroom. Shower door came off when used as was broken.

Refurbishment and maintenance repairs would make this place a nicer place to stay in.

Was super easy to get into the property with the instructions. The location it’s a short walk to the town centre, and has parking for 1 car on the rear of the property.

We stayed over the weekend, arriving Friday evening, I think the property could do with secondary glazing to help block out the Friday night noise, unfortunately it went until the early hours so was hard to sleep. The bedrooms could also do with blackout blinds, the street lighting comes directly in even with the blinds closed, the blinds don’t fully close, we had to use a water bottle to stop them from tilting open. I think the flat door should have another lock on it, it felt like it wasn’t closing properly, I kept checking it when in the flat. A door knob on the outside would make it easier to close the door rather than putting the key in the lock to pull it shut. I’m not sure if the socket are UK standards, they seemed smaller, they were all slightly tight to plug into, and when unplugging items it felt like the socket would come off the wall. The electrical shower and shower head needs to be upgraded, we were only there for a few days, but if I had booked for a longer duration I wouldn’t be happy not to have hot water in the basin or sink to wash up, especially as there isn’t a dishwasher so we had to do the washing up in freezing cold water. I think the owner has started doing some work to be fair, we could see some of the walls with filler on, we understand that equipment/items takes a lot of wear and tear in rental properties, but it would be nice if it was maintained in between the stays, we book these places based on the photos but when you actually get there it’s disappointing when it’s not in a good condition.

I had taken my 3 children & partners to see my other son who had just made me a grabdpa & we were all surprised at the standard of the flat aswell as the cleanliness & finish for our arrival,It had everything we would ever need for the kitchen ,bathroom aswell as for cleaning,it has a new top class kitchen with a great finish & little extras & a fitted bathroom that looked almost new to us & was bang on.The sitting area had plenty space & you were able to talk to those in the kitchen aswell as those who were lounging in the very comfy sitting room there's free WiFi & smart TVs to stream what takes your fancy & your very close to the city centre & everything that had to offer .me & my family had a wonderful time & so will you

Durty beding, really diagusting ive got skin allergy Not adequate heating and been treted taken money out of deposit we faced temperatures under -4 / 5 and heating was not working Windows not isolate properly cold from outside My mother got sick Glasses stolen from restaurants as was branded, no wine glasses, is a discrimination, even if their culture they don't drink wine is really desrespectfull not having wine glasses, is basic. Walls diagusting Sofa disgusting Was always a car parking in our parking space Oven completly diagusting and durty trays. Bathroon completly cold and toilet tissue holder rusty dengerous for our health Wardrobe nearly failling over the floor. Under sink hot watter was switched off from wall and the owner was lying saying is automaticly, obviously no, was completly switched off, and treating take out from deposit.

Disgusting and unsafe! DO NOT BOOK THIS!

Nothing, it was so terrible we had to leave and couldn’t stay there!

It was disgusting! The outside parking area was dark and filthy, there was a homeless man taking a poo right underneath where the key safe was, there was rubbish everywhere, there was rubbish all up the stairs inside the cat, the door to the apartment had been smashed in and then patched up, the lock didn’t work on the inside. The apartment was dirty and nothing like the pictures. We couldn’t even stay there it was so bad and had to leave and go to another apartment.

Nice enough spacious smart flat.

Spacious and large bedrooms, open plan living room with most of the essentials you need for a couple night stay.

Windows didn’t appear to be double glazed and because the flat is bang on the high st, even in the middle of the week, it was so noisy at night. We didn’t get much sleep during our stay.

the parking was very handy and the location was pretty central, the flat was clean

The stairwell and corridor leading to the flat was dirty. the clothes horse was broken. The noise from outside was a lot worse than expected. The blinds don’t keep out the sunlight in the morning. No batteries in the tv remote in the bedroom.

Lovely but noisy apartment stay in Southampton

Clean, nice apartment with washer/dryer. Stayed prior to catching a cruise. Not too far from Southampton Common - walkable.

The Wifi didn't work the first night but the Host fixed it the next day and it worked fine after that. They warned us that the location would likely be noisy and it was very noisy on Saturday night (pub across the street) - bring ear plugs.
