Overall, an acceptable stay due to the location. But as to the comfort and ‘luxury ‘ I’d go elsewhere

Centrally located. Supermarket next door. The interior seemed quite new although the building itself seemed rather old and not very well-maintained

The kitchen was very sparsely equipped- as a family of four we planned on making light meals (such as breakfast and takeaway) but the lack of cutlery, plates, etc. made it all a little less pleasant. The coffee machine only worked sometimes and the Internet didn’t work the entire stay and the landlord was not helpful.

Not clean, poor management

Location was good

First of all, the apartment was not nearly as clean and tidy as it should have been. To find the extra two towels, sheets, and pillowcases, we had to search the entire apartment, as they weren’t easily accessible—even though they knew we would be four guests. But this wasn’t even the main problem. The pillowcases were dirty (I have attached a relevant picture), and the towels still had tags on them, which meant they hadn’t been washed. When I asked the owners to bring new ones, they said they would but then stopped responding to my messages asking when they would come, so we could plan to be home. They only replied the next day to say they would come then. They brought only pillowcases and not towels, even though I had explicitly told them we needed clean sets of both. As a result, my friend and I ended up sleeping on our sweaters. Overall, communication was very poor. For example, even though they had informed us that early check-in at 15:00 (instead of 16:00) was possible and that they would send us the code to enter the apartment before 15:00, they never did. We were left waiting outside the property for an hour, calling and texting without any response, until they finally showed up and sent the code. In general, it was a really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend the apartment—both because of the lack of cleanliness and the poor management/communication.

Great location but apt needs attention!!

The proximity of the apt to the Metro, RER, restaurants, and grocery stores was fantastic. Staff were communicative. Instructions were clear. Apt was quiet (after the restaurant downstairs closed).

We’ve stayed at more than 50 places over the past 10 years and this apt was in the top 10 worst. The curtains were not properly attached to their rods; the sheets were not typical of those found elsewhere and were pilly and scratchy; not all lamps had working bulbs; there is visible dirt and stains on the curtains and sofa; the wifi router is so old that our iPhone 16 devices would not connect; there was no dish cloth to wash dishes with; there was no dish soap so we had to buy some (aaaarrgghh!!!); and the bathroom sink repeatedly backed up with water from the washing machine. The apt overall is minimally ok but some attention to details would improve it tremendously!

Very nice apartment with poor service

The apartment was very well positioned and the house itself was very cute and tidy, with enough space to chill and rest.

The towels for the shower were bad and 2 of them dirty and no shampoo or soap for showering (when I asked if it was possible to change them and have some cleaning stuff, the just said no and brought only 1 clean towel) It's a pity because the house it's very nice but these small things really put you in a bad mood and could be changed so easily (you arrive by plane at 10 you want to shower you expect at least a 1€ shampoo and clean towels)

Good location

The location was perfect—close to Montmartre and within a reasonable walking distance of most landmarks. We didn’t need to use transportation at all, as we reached everything on foot. The apartment itself was nice, but the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bed linens were terrible, making us hesitant to use them. The toilet was also not very clean.

We spent 8 days in Paris

We (1 m+2 f) rented this apartment for 8 days. The apartment met all our expectations. Clean, comfortable, quiet, all the declared equipment was functioning properly. Laundry and cooking are easy! The beds are comfortable, the shower is large. Exactly these we needed for the relaxation (with a glass of light wine and cheese) after kilometers of walking through the crowded streets and historical places of Paris. Very good location: supermarkets, restaurants, all transport lines are nearby. We are completely satisfied with the conditions provided for our stay. Many thanks to the "Rent a Room" team!

The room really made all it can with only 20m + space, the design and room equipment/supply is very considerable. Location is perfect. Lisa from "RentARoom" really provided much assistance when needed.

The bathroom area smells a bit, I think it's because of the sewer system issue, it's better until I put the fragrance cube there (which actually should be prepared in advance by the host).

All in all, I think I overpaid for quality I get.

Good location, close to metro station. Comfortable beds (I have neck problems, so sleeping might be an issue in unknown place, but in this apartment I slept like a baby and no morning pains at all). Kids (10 and 12) slept on the couch, it was noisy, but overall comfortable. Owners changed one pillow the same day, as it was too stiff to sleep on. Convinient check in (though we didn’t have code from entry door first, it was not written in the welcome mail, so we were lucky that neighbours were coming in the same time and opened the door. Code of the entrance door was inside the apartment☺️). Bed sheets were clean. Supermarket next door, but there are more just around the corner, and we end up with baguettes from other supermarket:) By the way, take a chance to visit CODA restaurant on the ground floor of the building- it serves creative dinners and is in the Michelin guide, and is not expensive at all (40eur per person for starter, main course and dessert), it was nice experience!

This property could have great potential, if it would be loved a little more. Ripped curtains, dirty windows (i have cleaned windows by myself, otherwise you can not see the sun through them), dated couch with iron stain on it… It all gives you a feeling that you are not welcome here. Cosmetic repair is definately needed for this apartment (we stayed at Nr.3), don’t be fooled by shiny pictures. We booked apartment for 4, but we had only 3 tea cups (and couple espresso cups which do not replace tea cups in my opinion), and my asking to give additinal cup was ignored. Also my question about regulation of towels dryer in the bathroom was ignored as well - it was cold most of the time, and cold and wet towels are not nice at all. Street is quiet, but windows do not isolate noise at all, so one night we couldn’t sleep because of the bar visitors downstairs.

The only positive things about the apartment is the location and the convenience of a grocery store next door. You’ll need it because the host did not provide enough tissue rolls for our stay.

1. INJURY PRONE. If you have luggages, you have to carry them up a very steep staircase which is a death trap in itself. I injured myself bringing up my luggages. It is not for those who are staying for long. 2. HOT WATER NOT ENOUGH. Hot shower is not enough for 4 people. You get about 5 minutes of shower each before it turns to ice water in the winter. 3. NOISY. You’ll be able to hear people shouting via the windows facing the street even at 2:30 am. 4. DIRTY. The cleaners rushed the cleaning of the apartment, Did not even sanitize the room. Just changed the sheets and vacuumed the floors. There are things left by the previous renter.

Pleasant, well laid out apartment that was a NICE alternative to standard hotel accomodations!

It would be nice if lights in TV room were on a dimmer. The large non stick fry pan has badly damaged coating--NEEDS replacing. There was only one dinner plate but many of the other items were 4 each. Because I was a bit late getting in by train; I called a couple times leaving message for access. The person I finally reached said she sent instructions for self check in via booking.com but when I read here the last message from Booking.com it did NOT contain any self check in instructions. She then sent me a text message with the proper information. Twice I got a voice message before I was able to connect with a live person on the phone and this was with the help of a nice French woman who lives in the building who helped me on the third call attempt. Once in--it was a great location and a good stay! Would definitely do it again. Also would be nice if there were some English TV channel options... but not critical to my stay.

Good location. Low quality accomodation

Location was good.

Photos were misleading of the standard of accomodation we had in Blanche 2. Instructions to collect key meant pulling bins out of way to get to key box. Not ideal. Lock felt broken/loose which made kids feel unsafe. 2nd 'sofa' bed was very rickety and meant us having to swap beds with kids so they got to sleep properly. Not fit to sleep people paying that much money for a weekend. No soap in shower. Hardly any glassware for a party of 4. Kids had to drink water out of 1 champagne flute and a wine glass in the morning as no other glasses. Strong smell of damp in building stairwell not what you want to be greeted by on an expensive weekend away.

Good location near Metro line 12. Supermarket downstairs is super convenient. A good choice for two adults and two kids, ages 12 and 14.

The apartment was not very clean. There was mold in the shower and the sheets hadn’t been changed in the sofa bed.

Good communication with the host and very simple instructions for entry upon arrival. The size of the flat was nice and it was well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is fabulous for people like us who wanted to be in the vicinity of Moulin Rouge and easy walking distance to the Louvre.

This would probably be a good place for one person or couple, but it is not ideal for two people who are seeking some privacy in the evenings. The toilet was at the front by the entry door, and the shower was in the bedroom. So that was a minor inconvenience because we had no choice but to walk through each other's space, but it was not dreadful. The most disruptive part was the sofa bed because there is no way a human could sleep comfortably on it. We moved the mattress to the floor in the living room and folded the sofa to make space for the mattress. It was tolerable, though far from ideal overall.

Appartement sale / pas de torchon / poêle avec revêtement dégradé inutilisable / manque de vaisselle / pas de housse sur la table à repasser / décoration minimal / 2 grandes et 1 petite serviette pour deux personnes / Couette pour le lit ultra fine. Obliger de contacter l’hôte pour obtenir les codes alors que je suis devant l’immeuble + numéro de téléphone de l’hôte n’est pas en service. Et suivant les derniers commentaires, n’ayez crainte, la ventilation ne fait plus de bruit tellement qu’elle est sale.

Квартира с хорошим месторасположением, близко до Монмартра и оперы. Сразу в этом же доме магазин. В квартире было почти все необходимое, достаточно для 4ых человек. Хорошая и быстрая коммуникация с хозяином квартиры.

Не очень хорошая уборка была перед заселением, окно в спальне не открыть т.к. мешает карниз. Квартира изношена, но не критично. Были сложности с заселением. Ключ от квартиры находится в замке, который повешен на забор во внутреннем дворике. Этот замок самый последний, повешен над помойками. Тянутся к нему было не очень удобно и приятно… Так же нам было сложно его открыть. У нас была вторая квартира.
