DoubleTree House

Double Tree House was everything that I had hoped for. The hosts were amazingly kind and helpful; we exchanged coffee and food. I met some amazing people during my stay. It’s a small walk from the Chiang Mai tourist life, but feels completely detached from it. I wrote, meditated and experimented with excellent coffee. One of the best places I’ve discovered on this platform.

The house is beautiful, very well taken care of, the owners make sure that everyone has a pleasant stay. The area is very calm, with some great places to eat and very good cafes in the area. Perfect for anyone who looks for a peaceful place to stay not far from the center.

Location: Located in a quiet neighborhood with fewer tourists. Within walking distance, you'll find a few coffee shops, local restaurants, and 7-11, making daily life quite convenient. It's just a 10-minute ride to the old town. Living Environment: A standalone villa with a garden and a rooftop terrace. The wooden decor gives it a rustic and elegant charm, creating a very cozy atmosphere with plenty of shared space. Since it's an older-style house, the in-room hardware is relatively simple, but the thoughtful touches like plants and framed pictures add a unique character. Even the towels are neatly rolled with care. People and Vibe: Staff are friendly. The host, May, is super welcoming and helpful to share great local spots and travel tips. When she had time, she even took us to markets/cafes etc. The place is generally peaceful; chat with other guests if you feel like it, or just find a cozy corner to unwind on your own.
