You know when you arrive to a place and you just get that lovely homely and welcoming feeling? Well Smile home has this in abundance. We instantly felt at ease and super relaxed here, the location is great and really close to the beach, lots of beach bars and restaurants. A much nicer location than in Ao Nang in our opinion. The host Don is really kind and friendly and is always on hand for anything you need. Super clean throughout, nice beds and really good shower. Internet better than anywhere else we have been and the kids found having Netflix on the tv a real treat. Thank you again Don for such a wonderful stay.
It would be nice to have an air conditioning unit in the living room too (there is just one unit in the bedroom). Once dark the a/c from the bedroom can cope and with the door open to the bedroom it cools the whole house. But daytime it can get very hot so could be a nice addition.

Great location, comfy beds and amenities, clean and well kept property close to the local 7e and laundromat. (Bikes are recommended for the trip to the beach.) Friendly, helpful, well-connected and knowledgeable host, knows the spots and can arrange all kinds of rentals, transport and tours.

Great location, 3minutes drive to the beach. 15min to Ao Nang town. 40 minutes from the airport.
Nice, big house with gorgeous garden. Great design, spacious.
At the start we noticed that the kitchen was missing many essential items such as a kettle, sufficient pots, glasses and cups We only had three glasses and three cups and just one small and one large pot which made meal preparation quite challenging.
The pillows in the bedroom were extremely hard. Since we stayed for 15 days this combined with the house’s location near a main road made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Additionally roosters ran around and made noise in the middle of the night.
The host was present almost constantly which felt very uncomfortable and made it hard to feel any privacy. We were also overcharged for the airport transfer 700 THB while the average price is around 350 THB. For renting a motorbike it’s better to go through a local shop as the daily rate is about 250 THB compared to the 350 THB we were charged
Finally the house was only cleaned every five days which wasn’t frequent enough given the amount of sand that accumulates.
