Ideal budget stay

Plenty of room to store our items. Use of clothes rail, coat stand, shelves, table and sofa. Location is ideal, tucked away off of the main street. In town and very close to the pier but quiet at night. A small breakfast offering in the morning, complimentary and fresh. Kettles, mugs and good sized fridge in the room.

Room was a little small but had a lot in it for the size. Worth the money you pay for the room.

Love to come back

I stayed for three weeks and I really liked it. The room was cosy and had everything, even a smart TV. Good location and the staff was really nice and polite. I appreciated the frequent cleaning, change of towels/beddings and complimentary water bottles every day. Very generous.

The only thing I could have wished for would be better ventilation since there was no window in the room. There was a bathroom exhaust fan, but it’s noisy and doesn’t really help as there was no air inlet. I made it a habit to open the door to the corridor and the run the fan in morning to vent the room.

Amazing value for money in a good location

Great location near the night markets, and value for money as well. The staff were so helpful, and the rooms were comfortable - we paid to upgrade to have a room with a window and it was well worth it. It's off the road too, so was quiet at night + comfortable for sleeping.

Nothing - we loved our time here and would visit again.

Good stay closed to the Saladan Pier

Well, simple accomodation, it was ok for day or two, small staff for breakfast snack, it was clean.

my room was closed to the reception, so second night I woke up at 8 am, so overall just fine. Close to the pier, far from nicest beaches on south.

I didn’t like anything about this place, and I wouldn’t recommend it even for one night.

One of the worst stays I’ve had while traveling. The room had ants and bugs, and it smelled awful. Breakfast was terrible too—just dry toast and jam, nothing else.

Clean, comfortable and overall nice stay

The host was welcoming and the place was clean and comfortable. Good location and nice room.

Hand soap should be provided but this seems to be common in many places to not have antibacterial soap. There was almost constant beeping of alarms from the bakery attached which I could hear for two out of the three evenings I was there which wasn't relaxing especially as I was quite ill and needed rest. Good to have an extra business but the noise needs to be addressed even if just a notice on the description

The room was really nice and in style. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room first arrived was very clean. They have a share kitchen in lobby for us to used as well. I will definitely come to stay longer next visit.

Not a bad stay for a night or 2, good value for money.

it was right next to the pier so ideal after a long days travel to the island. The bed was very comfy and so where the pillows, ac worked well, it was generally pretty quiet, but not till fairly late, and then at around 5am I was awoken by what sounded like kitchen pots and pans being cleaned, as I think there is the family bakery attached to the accommodation.

there is no view as per the room facilities, I was not bothered as I only stayed in the evening and left the next day but just something to know, there is no windows to the outside in the rooms, just into the corridor, again didnt bother me, but may for others. being woken up to cleaning and clattering around at 5am, I understand they run a guesthouse and a bakery but still 5am is early, although I am a fairly light sleeper so it could have just been me.

Nice spot for a few days and good value

Close to a very quiet beach, night market is nearby also. Very convenient for pick up for a snorkelling trip, they picked us up and walked us two minutes to the boat before any of the other passengers arrived.

Staff have terrible English but were friendly and tried their best. It was listed there was a private kitchen but its in the reception and not one you would want to use. Also quite a few insects in the room and find their way into your bed and bags.

Concrete bunker with Netflix

Literally 3 mins walk from Saladan Pier so it's ok for an affordable 1-nighter if you need to be close to the pier. Netflix available, if watching TV on holiday is your thing.

Staying here felt like an immersive experience into the heart of an underground concrete bunker. The room had no windows and was painted in dark greys. Weird. Claustrophobic. We couldn't handle it so spent most of our time outside in central Lanta. Watch out: bed is on a concrete platform, perfectly designed for toe-stubbing. I'd love to meet the architect.

4 days in Koh Lanta with Vito and Pat

La Chambre is a just 3 minute walking from the Pier and located at Saladan. There is big parking for Car or Motorbike. Restaurants, PADI are opposite the hotel, it like Souvenirs shops and Travel agency. Sala Bakery is a 50 mt. after the hotel. At the moment don't have breakfast, but in case there is a small Kitchen for prepare by yourself. Smart TV in the room. Air condition working very good.

Very clean. Close to Ferry Pier. Lots of shops around. Friendly people. Staffs do not speak much English, but with google translator, this is not an issue.

The rooms have very thin walls. When anybody in the surrounding room opens the door, the noise is amplified and hits you. Even when the staffs makes small talks in the kitchen, you can hear it from the room. Poor civil engineering work. It was raining, I could not go out in the evening. I wanted to watch the TV , but the TV was not working (I am not much of a TV person, not a problem, but if you want to watch, get it checked with the staff when you check in). Its funny, every hotel in Thailand I stayed had a Kettle but except for one, none provided and tea bag or coffee/milk/sugar. Why on earth do you provide the Kettle? And do you think tourists carry with them tea bags? There is no good beach nearby , except one. And that one is a private beach. If you want to swim, you need to walk a lot or take a TukTuk.

Fair room, but with an aftertaste

Solid room with a bathroom with everything we needed (air-condition, hot shower, solid bed). Close location to nearby pier(2 min walk). We came early and room was already waiting for us, we only stayed one day and went forward early next day.

Its not a huge downside but it left an aftertaste with us, worth mentioning everything was very solid except that we had ants in our bed that were crawling from the window, we sorted that out with a little massacre and a spray. Also when we arrived there was no-one at the front-desk who could speak english so we had to communicate over the phone. Next day we got up really early and there was no water in the morning (around 6am). Because we left early we arranged morning breakfast at 6:30 which we didn’t receive, except for coffee. We are aware we were not a typical guest, but still, our stay wad solid, but could be a lot better. Also worth mentioning that if you pay with card on location you pay 5% to card processor so its better if you pay via booking (which we couldn’t because we booked one day earlier).

L’évier était complètement descellé . Insonorisation, plus que limite, heureusement que les gens étaient respectueux. Les draps étaient déchirés.! Et dans certains petits recoins, comme l’endroit où on pose la télécommande de la clim ou la brosse à dents, il y avait plein de saleté non nettoyé depuis longtemps Et ça m’ennuie de marquer ça parce que les gens sont tellement gentils….. mais c’est pour qu’il s’améliore
