We loved this place. The view is spectacular! The staff cleans your room everyday! They also do laundry which we found out the day before we left. Careful with the monkeys. They will wake you up by jumping on the roof at 6am, and do not feed them. I learned this the hard way. Highly recommend. They also have a smart tv.

The sweetest host, amazing view, beautiful nature around, but close to everything. Very clean, nice balcony, big room with everything you need. I can't recommend Freedom Estate enough! Definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed with good value for money.

Staying at Freedom Estate was absolutely amazing! Waking up to see monkeys in the morning made us so happy ❤️ We loved watching them play and reflecting on the idea of human freedom that’s lost — it was such an amazing experience. The garden is beautiful — a truly peaceful place to relax and enjoy your time. The monkeys weren’t a problem at all; just be mindful not to leave food on the terrace. The bungalows are gorgeous, very comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect — just 200 meters down is a street where you can buy anything or have fun. It’s central, so you can easily explore many of Koh Lanta’s beaches. We had bicycles, which made getting around even more fun! The place is really not as steep as some people say, so don’t let that stop you — it actually adds to the charm. The owner was incredibly kind and caring, helped us with transportation, and even allowed us to check in earlier, which we truly appreciated. This is the perfect place for chilling, relaxing, and enjoying great vibes. We loved it so much and would definitely come back! :)

The apartments are located just a short walk (about 5 min away) from the main street and about 10 minutes away from the beach. It's a little bit up the hill, but definitely not difficult. The view is awesome as you can see the sea in the horizon and a nice garden in front, which is taken care of daily by the workers. The owner Rolf greeted us to show around and explain how everything works. He is very friendly, laid back and helpful. Whenever we needed something, we could reach him by WhatsApp. Maid cleans the room everyday. When she saw that we washed and hung our clothes by ourselves outside, she left us a note that she can do laundry service. We used it and had our clothes dry and smelling nice in just a couple of days for a great price. Everything worked great - electricity, water, AC, TV, etc. You can sometimes see monkeys outside, one of which came to our porch and we had to close and lock the door, but it seemed to be scared of us more than vice versa. All in all, it's a great and calm location to stay in on this island, away from all the noises, but just close enough to comfortably get anywhere.
