Beautiful.

The location on the beach is brilliant, free snorkels, canoes, paddle boards. Slush puppies and crisps included and always topped up. Only 13 rooms so it really gives a chilled out feel. A cool bar next door serving happy hour and you can take these to your sun bed. The rooms are so clean and the aircon is great. The staff are very attentive and we appreciated them a lot. There’s some beautiful dogs roaming around too.

A beautiful tree that blocks the sun, so you’ll have to move the sunbeds at times. The mosquitos come out at prime happy hour time. A very busy street, the ferry boats dock there and mopeds meander through.

Great vibe

I really enjoyed this place. Modern rooms with great chilled out vibe. Hotel staff very friendly and laid back. Free use of kayak and accessories. Ladies on reception advised best place to snorkel. Location walkable from pier. Very clean. so clean infant I walked in to the glass door thinking it was open 😂 few dogs play on the beach. are all friendly and no danger I spoke to several locals

Excellent hotel if you have a scooter

The hotel itself is very nice and very close to the port. The staff at the front desk were pleasant and helped us with taxis, and one day they helped our family surprise us with a pampering meal with transportation and everything.

We were traveling without a scooter so the location was really not good for us. The hotel is a 30-minute walk from the city center and due to the crazy humidity, the walk was very unpleasant. There are some ants and one day we woke up from the noise of ferries honking.

Good Stay with a few issues

Nice and new hotel with super friendly staff. The bed in my room was one of the best I’ve ever tried, extremely comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep.

It’s important to note that there is a bar next door that plays loud music in the afternoon and evening, so it’s not ideal if you’re looking to rest. At night, however, it was ok and I had no problems sleeping. The Wi-Fi is quite unstable, which makes it less suitable for remote work. I booked a room advertised as “terrace – garden view,” but it actually faced the street and lacked privacy.

Perfect!

The hotel is located close to the ferry pier from Koh Samui so we could easily walk to the accomodation. The ladies at the front desk were amazing! We loved Ice and the other lady. They were so helpful, friendly and kind. We stayed in the upstairs honeymoon suite and it was absolutely stunning! Excellent aircon, beautiful views, comfy bed with beautiful white linen and a lovely bathroom. All very classy and tastefully decorated. The fridge was full of soft drinks which were all complimentary, as was the snacks in reception. Complimentary slip slips, gown, beach bag, towels and water bottles were available for our use for free as was snorkelling gear. A real treat and perfect place to explore the island from and close to lots of restaurants, motorbike hiring places, massage parlours and shops. We loved it and were made to feel very welcome. Thank you.

Very comfortable and friendly stay.

Beautifully decorated and very stylish. Easy to access the local area and walk to Sairee Beach area. Paddle boards and kayaks free to use which we did. Free snacks available and fresh water and coffeee pods provided each day.

The tides were very low during our stay which meant the sea directly in front of the property isn’t really swimmable. No other complaints.

Incredible, we will be back!

We loved everything about our stay at Lücke. The room was exactly as pictured online, clean, comfortable and great air con. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the amenities were fabulous. Beach towels, paddle boards, kayaks, free scooter parking and complimentary snacks! The location was also great, only a short couple of minute walk from the boat pier. Despite this, the beach out the front was still absolutely gorgeous and so clean, perfect for a sunset swim. We would love to be able to visit again one day.

Nothing to complain about! Only thing to be aware of is lots of mosquitoes, be prepared. But that is Thailand.

- very new and modern (unlike many other properties on the island) - super helpful and nice staff - beachfront - great price/performance - very convenient (stores, restaurants close, even an excellent new gym) - could be easily the best hotel in Koh Tao

- very close to the main marina and pier, could bother some people, also sometimes a bit smelly from incoming/outgoing ships but nothing serious

Very clean and all the facilities are great! The hotel is located near to the pier, cafe and restaurants. Could rent a bike just opposite the hotel :) Easy to go other beaches or bays by the bike within 15-20 mins.

It's difficult to find a better central beachfront stay

Very unique location with a really nice slice of beach. A bar to the left, dive school and restaurants to the right, and great snorkeling just in front of the hotel. We especially liked our beachfront room with the terrace on the beach. Rooms are modern and stylish, and the beds, bedding, and pillows are really nice. The staff is excellent!

There is a bar next door that plays (various good) music throughout the day. It is quite loud, usually tones down after 22 with some weekend exceptions when they might have theme nights with a DJ. It did not bother us. There is no breakfast included. Traditional western type breakfast is hard to find in Thailand anyway, but you'll find some really great options nearby (e.g. next door if you like healthy stuff, and 50m further for fruit shake and sandwich specialists. This also was not an issue for us.

Paradise

We just needed 2 more nights on Koh Tao to fill and found this place on Booking for a fair price. It ended up being one of the best places we stayed in Thailand.( and were lucky to add 1 more night) This place has everything. Room with a view that is unbeatable. Great snorkeling beach right on your doorstep ( gear available at request from reception) . Great restaurant at small walking distance.Very friendly staff for this small scale hotel. Location is great with a Rasta bar next door that is playing awesome music ( we were disappointed when they put the volume down in the evening) Long story short, if you get a chance to stay here , count yourself Lucke!

The room is not cheap by Thai standards, but the value for money is super. A clean well designed room, with all the comfort I coudl wish for, right at the beach with my own private beachfront patio. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Walking distance from the pier, so you don't even need a taxi although the area is not the quitest, but you do not notive anything from that once on the beach or in your room.

There was not a room on the first floor available. The floors at beachlevel, have direct beach acces. Wich is great, but I prefer the privacy of a room on the first floor.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff in a great location

Very nicely done up, rooms had everything you needed and was close to everything! JT also gave great recommendations and the beach was lovely to swim in. Great view from the balcony too! The lady at reception was also great and so friendly.
