Fantastic location, great sized room and so convenient.

Really large room with plenty of space and a nice sized bathroom. The location is fantastic.

Everything was fantastic, only slight feedback is that the shower didn’t stay very hot for too long and was abit temperamental with spraying water in all directions and the large overhead shower head didn’t seem to work well, just the smaller lower one.

Fairy tale place

Fantastic location, it is in the middle of medieval place. Looks like we were in a fairy tale movie.

Wonderful and unique accommodation in a lovely village.

Super charming home! It was very comfortable and unique. Plenty of room for our family of four. We loved the village of Tourette-sur-Loup. Lots of great food options, don’t miss the pasta at Ravioletti. The host was very welcoming and friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much.

A joyful return to a much loved and beautifully preserved historic village.

Looking to recreate my treasured memories of living in Tourrettes decades ago, this was the perfect rental apartment. Stephane has restored it with great flair to reflect the charm of an artisanal medieval village. He was a delightful and very helpful host who ferried us to and from Nice airport, advised on local amenities, and was on hand to fix any minor issues. Yes, the steps are steep, but unless that is a total bar, I would echo ‘carpe diem’: go while you can, maybe out of season too, to get a glimpse of a very special heaven.

We had a wonderful stay at Carpe Diem! The apartment is beautiful and feels like a real home from home. Tourettes sur loup is by far the most beautiful village we saw during our time on the Côte d’Azur and it was a privilege to be able to stay in the village. Thank you to Stephane for an excellent stay!

There are two sets of stairs to climb but Stephanie very willingly helped with our luggage. Even met us in the parking lot ☺️

Relaxed, lovely room with view to feast your eyes on.

The room was lovely and the terrace was a must have, with wonderful views out over the hills and down to the sea. The host is VERY chilled and relaxed - he didn't greet us at the property but we did see him the day after at the local cafe! His communication was excellent though so we didn't feel abandoned! I am so glad we decided to get the room with the terrace. Sitting outside for breakfast or the sunset with a glass of wine is just perfect! Being at the top it was quiet - we knew other people were staying, but only heard them from the hallway door.

Be warned - the stairs to the top floor are STEEP. No good if you have lots of things to carry or a push chair. There were teabags in the room and a coffee maker but no mugs or spoons. Also, as there was no breakfast, we ended up having to buy picnic spoons and bowls as we didn't want to just have to go to the bakery for pastries (lovely though they are). The TV didn't work, but we weren't bothered about that. We did only see our host once, so if you like to feel like there is always someone there, then perhaps this would be too relaxed for you.

Nice and spacious room with cosy terrace

Nice, spacious and clean room and bathroom! The terrace was great with a nice view on the hill. Contact with the host was perfect, Stephane was very friendly and helpful. The location was also perfect in the center of Tourrettes-sur-Loup. Parking places are nearby (free parking as well as an inexpensive parking super close).

The stairs up to the room were quite steep but that was not really a problem!

Tourettes sur Loup is a magnificent place, with superb food and Carpe Diem is very good value for money.

Stephane was very good at communication and spoke English. Fast on the phone to guide us. Met us at the parking place, told us where to park free, took two heavy luggage and carried them to the apartment up the steepe staircase. Tips about restaurant and shopping. Large terrace with nice view.

the bathroom was too small, the shower has no curtain so the water goes on the floor there was only 1 towel per person

Loved the location, amazing views, and little touches like verbena tea

not a huge dislike, and of course due to the time of the year we visited, the property got pretty cold at night. aircon was working. just something perhaps for travellers visiting outside of season
