Bastide Nomade - guest house

Very quiet location within walking distance from St. Paul du Vance (if you like, as we do, a rather steep 20 minutes walk up the hill.) By car it's under ten minutes. The room had a gorgeous view of St. Paul du Vance. The bed was very comfortable. It was clean. The shower was pleasant (although took some time to warm up). Breakfast was very nice with fresh bread and home-made granola (cookies). On the last day we were offered crepes (but declines). Host was helpful and stayed out of the way otherwise. We cannot emphasize enough that this is really a very quiet spot in otherwise very touristy area. We loved it. (Also swimming pool is nice place to cool down in Summer.)

Towels need an upgrade. (And maybe water-pressure in shower.) I would like more serious roasted coffee options. But this is all nitpicky. It's a great place.

The property is immaculate and has been designed with great care and attention to detail. Loved the little touches in each room. Lovely owners who were really helpful (apologies for our poor French). Great breakfasts as well

We liked everything it beware it is quite a walk to St Paul de Vence. A good half hour and pretty (very) steep in places and a good workout in the heat, glad we hired a car.

We hired a car in Nice and headed to Bastide-Nomade. Christopher was there to greet and help us straight away. He is warm and funny and he and his lovely wife couldn’t have been more generous with giving local advice on what to explore and where to eat. Breakfast was just right each morning as we sat looking up at Saint Paul from the garden. It hot weather for our stay and although Saint Paul is close by it would be a challenging walk to and fro for dinner etc, I would recommend staying here with a car as being able to drive about on our holiday on Christopher’s suggestions made our time really special.

Location is great. Very peaceful. But You will need a car. Fantastic breakfast too.

Nothing it was all good. A small improvement would be a mini fridge in the room
