The location was ideal, surrounded by peaceful countryside yet close to lovely villages and great restaurants. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with fresh local produce and plenty of delicious choices to start the day. We truly appreciated the relaxing atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the personal touches that made our stay so memorable. La Bastide Gourmande exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!

Perfect getaway

A very warm welcome from the lovely young couple. They could not do enough to make our stay memorable.

We were looking forward to dinner at the hotel but were told that dinner was only available during the week. This should perhaps have been mentioned beforehand but this did not in any way diminish our stay at this hotel.

We loved this small hotel and will return as soon as possible!

We loved everything about this family run small hotel! Especially the hosts! They tried so hard to please everyone, and there were so many extra comforts-- such as the waste basket that you just waved your hand over and it opened and closed! The swimming pool was divine, the breakfasts are good, the air conditioning was appreciated; great shower; great room!

Superb

Alex the manager is super friendly and helpful. We traveled with a 10 month old baby and whenever we needed something sterilising, heating etc Alex was always there offering to help. Pool was lovely with amazing panoramic views of the Nice countryside. Le Romarin restaurant 500m down the road was truly excellent too.

I would recommend the hotel but only if you have your own car or rented one (best for family trips)

I liked everything - the room has more than enough space, it is in a modern style, there is a tablet with specially designed app to answer most of the questions (restaurants nearby, wifi credentials and etc). Breakfast was more than enough. There was free WiFi, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

There is quite limited options for traveling - either via your own car or very expensive cab. There are only 2 buses going around but it takes quite some time if you want to travel with them. There is no restaurant as part of the hotel - you can take only breakfast and in the area there is only one restaurant (closer than 2.5km) In my room the phone carrier did not had good signal

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It s the perfect option if you want to visit Cote D azur. The room was very clean and well equiped. The pool area and the jacuzzi was just exceptional.. the perfect way to end a busy day... Thank you, Bianca and Alex!

nice small hotel

Nice modern rooms. separate bath and toilet. pool was nice and clean. we were always the only ones there. staff was really friendly and super helpful. wifi worked perfect and in all areas.

rooms are pretty small. we had lots of luggage as we were on a long trip. got a bit crowded. breakfast could have been a little more variety and ja not included in the price, little over priced for what it was. location is ok, but need car to drive everywhere. the area is not made for pedestrians, no sidewalks etc.

too many mosquitoes outdoors everywhere, difficult to stay outside although facility is good. The next day we were planning to have ~30 mins jaccuzi before heading off the road, it’s in maintenance unfortunately.

Great stay in Cote Azure

Very nice stay in a great location. The owner is very friendly and always available for honest suggestions for site seeing in the surrounding area. Also everything has a very modern and comfortable feel. The pool is a great spot to relax and freshen up during hot summer days

The only very small fixeable problem was that the bathroom door could not be shut or locked.

La propreté, la déco, l’emplacement très bien.

La chambre attribuée était très froide, malgré la Clim que nous avons activée au max. Les murs, le sol bref la pièce en général étaient gelés. Même au bout de 2 nuits. Un réel problème d’isolation. Problème de douche également, qui inonde salle de bain et chambre si l on est pas vigilant. Peut être un problème de pente.

Nous avions choisi une"suite"pour avoir plus d'espace, mais la chambre est petite et l'autre pièce est plus une entrée qu'un salon. L'absence de salle de bains, la douche et le lavabo étant dans la chambre, nous aurions souhaité le savoir avant de réserver la chambre... La petitesse de la chambre et l'absence de salle de bain ne mérite pas l'appellation "suite"
