Nice apartment but no human touches

I stayed here 2 weeks. The location is perfect for enjoying Marbella. It takes only 3 min to beach, 5 min to central/old town by foot. The kitchen is very useful. In Marbella restaurants are quite expensive but there are some super markets and local fresh vegeshops near the apartment. All kitchen facilities include microwave, kettle and refrigerator are available in the room. The bed mattresses and pillows are super comfortable. At night, here is quiet so could slept well. The air conditioner works perfect. There are 2 bathrooms. The shower water pressure is pretty low but could use hot water anytime. There are no washing machine and dryer but coin laundry is 3min from there.(washing €6 dryer €1/5min) The room is big. The sharing rooftop balcony is nice as well.

CANNOT CONTACT/MEET WITH OWNER OR STAFF. I was confused because I never saw/met the house owner or staff. They just sent automated message through booking.com about checking in. I tried to contact them more than 6 times about how to throw trash on the message system also WhatsApp which shows me on Information paper. Then finally I got a reply as “I don’t have your room.”on WhatsApp. Thanks. In case if you need their help, there are no hopes. There are information QR codes which are NOT WORKING in the room. I didn’t know that THEY DON’T DO ANY CLEANING SERVICE. That’s fine but it’s better to show on booking.com before confirmed reservation. About trash you need bring to public garbage dump during night *after 19:00. It takes 5min by foot. I asked how to do it to local neighbors. There are no additional toilet papers. There are no service for changing towels and bedsheets even if you stay half month here. Sofa smells weird.

I do not recommend this place. It was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had in Marbella.

Good location, close to everything

I usually write only positive reviews, but this time I can’t stay silent. The stay left a very unpleasant impression. The host treats guests without respect — ignores messages, responds rudely and dismissively. The staff behave the same way, ignoring any requests. For two people we were given only one pillow and one sheet. When I asked for an additional set of bed linen, there was no reaction at all. During our 11-day stay, towels were never changed — we were told that “it’s not their policy.” Only one roll of toilet paper was provided for the entire stay; everything else you must buy yourself. You basically have to bring your own bed linen, towels, and even trash bags. Guests are expected to take out their own rubbish and find containers somewhere around the city. The atmosphere is extremely unfriendly — you feel like an unwelcome guest.

Very traumatic and started our holidays off on a bad note.

The only good thing I can say about the property is the location to the town is very close.

Everything. We got there at 12am at night after a long flight to find no covers on the mattress- no duvet - no towels. We tried to contact the number that said ‘24/7 help’ and it went straight to voicemail. We decided to sleep on the couch and figure it out tomorrow but when we pulled the sofa bed out there was ants and silverfish running around everywhere. When the property finally replied the next morning they advised they would get it sorted but barely gave an apology. We eventually had to go through the booking.com complaints procedure who finally gave us a €125 refund for the first night. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment as it was dirty everywhere. When the cleaners came in they next morning they were there 6 minutes but covers on the bed and left. Very bad experience.

Mixed Feelings

I had issues getting in because I had no signal. Alas, someone was on hand to help after having to wait 30 minutes for someone to come to the door.

Finding cock roaches every morning wasn't greatly appreciated. The room looked and smelled immaculately clean other than that. Nowhere to wash 1 towel that I had for 5 days. 2 months on and my watch still hasn't been returned so has obviously been kept. Not e all... don't forget anything as the after care is woeful!!

Amazing!

The accommodation is right in the center of Marbella, very close to the beach. You can rent a bike nearby and do the Passeio Marítimo, until Puerto Banus, e very beautiful way to spend the day. There are very good restaurants in the area to have dinner, and the people are very nice. About Vientos de Marbella, it has a really nice terrace, with lots of sun, and the accommodations are very comfortable and clean. It is exactly like the pictures. I’ll definitely recommend to friends and family!

The small amount of time that the water stays warm during the shower. It’s enough for one people, but not for two or three in a row.

Overall, it was a good stay!

The apartment is very central, both to old town and beach. Has everything you need if you want to cook your own food. The bottom apartment had two bathrooms and showers, perfect if you are traveling with company.

The bottom apartment was this time a year (March) very cold and moist. And since it is bottom apartment you don’t really have windows towards skies to get a feeling if it’s sunny, cloudy, or just to get some morning sunshine. If you are sensitive to “basement” environment maybe an apartment on the upper floors is better.

Disappointing

This apartment are very centrally located. Very close to the old town and the beach. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well as an supermarket. There are parking options on the street or in Garage.

The cleaning and standard of the apartment is rather low. It has a lot of space but is well used and many items need a fresh up. (Shower floors, sink in small bathroom, etc). On arrival, there was no soap nor toilet paper. We managed to find a person doing the cleaning and we got one of each to share over the two bathrooms(?). We of course went out and bought our own but still..

it was remodeled cute and modern. we found parking around the streets. we got a little lucky.

there was NO soap. there were no floor towels. there was no paper towels. the amenities were 0 to none. when we asked about it, they told us to do laundry when we were staying there for only two days. imagine going to the shower and there is no soap in any of the showers. imagine water gets out and there is no floor towel or Matt. imagine no trash can in the bathroom. just not well put together and too expensive for that. it’s summer, it’s Covid life, soup is a basic necessity. they didn’t even have soap in both bathrooms to wash your hands. lame.

Would not recommend

The location was very nice - easy to reach the old town and beach, but the beach is definetely not the most beautiful in marbella (which if course is not the fault of the accommodation). Though it is located near the main street it was very quiet. On the first look the apartment seems really nice, but it was not cleaned properly. The mattress was very comfortable, the pillow on the other hand was as uncomfortable as it gets - we only had one long pillow for 2 people. There was an iron in the room which was nice, the stove and refrigerator worked properly. It was more than enough space for 2 people, but for 4 would not be enough in my opinion. Nice private rooftop terrace, but was also not cleaned properly (especially the cushion covers).

For starters, I found it weird that we had to send photos of our passports for check in, but never saw anybody and therefore cannot say for sure who has access to those. I did not feel comfortable sending pictures of our passports around on the internet like that. The cooker hood is not isolated properly and one gets a small electric shock if one touches the metal parts. Some of the light switches did not work properly. The whole apartment only has sliding doors (to the bathrooms as well as to the bedroom). The shower could not be closed and so its hard to not flood the whole bathroom. The shampoo bottles in the bathroom did not work and the soap was filled with something that smelled like dish washing detergent. The bed and couch nearly collapsed once and we had to fix it. We did not receive information as to how to give back the apartment keys and we could not reach anybody via booking or calls. On booking it says that there is transport from the airport available, but when we asked in advance we were told that is is currently not available. But the worst for me was that the apartment was not cleaned properly, which for me is the basic requirement. We found several hairs in the bed and bathroom, every mug was dirty though it was stored back on the shelf. This leads to my bad overall review since it was stated before by several other guests but it seems the owner does not care!

The host made us (including a 6 year old kid) wait in the rain for 2 hours without giving us the keys. At last we were forced to change hotel. Unfortunately full payment was charged all the same. Cosy. Ideal.

Location is IDEAL! Access to two bathrooms and x2 showers. TV Available you can change language on some channels. You could bring an amazon stick if you wanted to chill. Facilities were good. Very little noise around. Small kitchen but pretty much everything you needed. Women that let us in kept it short and sweet. Nice girl. We were given x2 large towels and x2small towels. Bed was super comfy slept well. Again locatin is perfect for all old Town. Parking available across the road at a reduced rate £20 euro a day reduced to £14 if your staying in apartment. Lovely upstairs rooftop if you wana chill. Showers are great. Ideal for a couple. Would stay again for sure. Also a fridge, microwave, and some lovely decor throughout. Great interior.Thanks for the stay. 😊

it is beautifull but a lot of things do not work and the staff is unfriendly and needs long time to answer. first day the internet did not work (it is shared which means if there are more people you cannot watch netflix in the bedroom). then the water in the shower did not work (happend before. see reviews). then the washingmachine had issues to work with normal tabs… then the bathroom was full of mould which stinked and was covered by room parfum. not very healthy. there is only 1 knife and no cutting board, only 2 chairs and i did not see the second sleeping sofa. no dish washer (in corona times)…. and again no internet. instead of feeling ashamed and reactng friendly the staff was getting more and more unfriendly and unprofessional. in the end the kettle broke because of an electricity failure (short circuit) and they even asked me to replace it. communication was unfriendly (see screenshot of whatsapp) if at all existing. it is dark because it is in the city center and it is humid in the bedroom and in the bathroom without window.

Fab, stylish upper floor apartment, but sadly water pressure too darned feeble when we were there

Excellent location at the edge of the old town, really close to the beach yet super quiet, on a no vehicle access road. Beautifully decorated and stylish, wonderful use of the space, plenty of soft seating, comfy large double bed and two separate shower rooms. No parking at the property, but we found free parking along C Juan Alameda road, about 500m away

Ahhh, it would have been perfect, but we've marked it down cos we were in the upper floor apartment and the water pressure was awful. For most of the two days we were there we simply couldn't get a shower. The lady looking after the apartment was very responsive trying to fix it, and we noted that there was some (quiet) building work going on further up the road which might have caused loss of pressure(?!); But if you enjoy a nice shower, do check with the owner beforehand and get some kind of guarantee the water pressure is decent again before you commit. Sorry to say it, but this is how we see it.

The property was really well located - minutes walk to the old town and seafront. The room was very clean on arrival and was well looked after and it was apparent that it had been recently decorated. The host was really helpful, welcoming, and understanding who went out of their way to help us out during our stay.

Location was excellent - near the centro historico and within walking distance to the sea.

No water on second day but this was not a fault in the apartment. I informed the owner who told me that water had been turned off in the street. As compensation, the owner provided bottles of water and reimbursed us for a night's stay.
