Very good

It is absolutely stunning. The views, the lavender at the pool, so peaceful and relaxing. A true Tuscan retreat. We had a few initial issues at check in because of cots as below but Valentina and Tania were extremely helpful. They were easy to communicate with readily available and very keen to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Everything was sorted very quickly and I’m grateful to them for that.

It is relatively close to Lucca however there is a very small bumpy country lane into it with a lot of potholes so take care with rental cars. The wooden cots shown in the pictures here are not permanent fixtures in the rooms and are usually kept in the attic. It must be requested for them to be lifted down from the attic and prepared before you arrive.

Villa is fine if you are prepared to alarm

The villa was typically Italian style farmhouse , nice and cool , comfortable beds with fans provided as there was no air conditioning . Valentina the villas host was very helpful .

During day 3 of our 10 day holiday we were burgled whilst being by the swimming pool in the garden . The thieves stole a valuable amount of watches , jewellery and cash . There was no safe in the villa and Valentina said we should have alarmed the property . This is not easy when you have children in and out of the property collecting drinks , iPads etc . The ordeal was very frightening especially for the children . There is a track near the swimming pool where we believe the thieves first spotted us on motorcycles the day before . This villa is not suitable for young families from a safety point of view . The owners eventually agreed to give us 50% refund but as we refused to stay their with scared children we had to pay for another holiday in a hotel . The hotel ordeal was very disappointing and sadly the children are too scared to now stay in a villa .

Très beau séjour dans un endroit magique

Très belle maison ancienne avec beaucoup d'âme. Magnifique vue, très calme et très belle terrasse. Air conditionné dans les chambre ! Cuisine sommaire mais bien équipée. Bonne literie. Très bien entretenu. Super piscine !

L'éloignement et l'étroitesse de la route pour arriver à l'endroit. Il faudrait bien mentionner cela dans le descriptif. Quelques fourmis dans la cuisine, prévoir une désinfection. Prévoir une grande table sur la grande terrasse.
