About this villa rental
This lovely property is located in the hills between Lucca and the Versilian coast, with the possibility of reaching the major Tuscan cities of art for day trips. The present owners restored Bottino, a property under the supervision of the Italian Historic Buildings Administration, which is made up of a farmhouse and a barn, in total respect to the materials of the area while thinking at the comforts needed by travelers during their holiday.. The property is composed of two buildings, where two groups or families may enjoy a stay together while maintaining their independence, as each house offers its own kitchen and sitting-room and every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Also all beds can be prepared either as double or as twin beds (please warn in advance of your request). The lovely terraced garden, surrounded by an olive grove, offers guests several places to sit outside and is nicely furnished for outdoor meals. The pool was designed to blend perfectly with the Tuscan countryside with its grey color, and has been placed just outside the barn, with lovely views of the surrounding hills. Furthemore there is a bocce (bowls) court available to guests. Close to both the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, this setting is also excellent for hikers and people who like to walk. Cooking lessons are available upon request.

Thank you for this wonderful stay in Villa Bottino. We really appreciate your hospitality and all your great recommendations. It's a fabulous house to spend time with friends & family. We especially enjoyed the beautiful outdoor areas that invited us to have and cook homemade dinners, hang by the pool, yoga-classes in the garden, play boule. You welcomed us with open arms and your house had everything to make our stay very convenient and comfortable.

Fourth time at Bottino. On the first time in August 2019 I wrote that we would be back with granchildren. I would never have thought that the time would come so quick. Our grandson enjoyed Italy for the first time this year being 8 months.
We enjoyed having the cook preparing dinne for us almost every night. That made my vacation!
Also the massages at the house were great. Maybe we will be back, even with more grandchildren!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! Villa Bottino is a truly amazing Tuscan retreat. Many villas claim to be a peaceful haven, but Bottino delivers on every level. From the minute we arrived, we were thrilled by the warm welcome and hospitality.
This is a peaceful setting for a relaxing, comfortable holiday in a 'home away from home'. We had a fabulous time! Grazie mille.
