DoBairro suites at Bairro Alto

Very good location, really noisy at night but that’s what i was looking for anyway. Although the balcony windows block out a good bit of noise. AC very good. Comfortable bed and good shower. Enough utensils provided to make your own food. Provided with travel size shampoo, body wash and hand soap. Cleaning service not needed as there is a washing machine on ground floor to wash towels etc which is handy. Good airbnb for a longish stay. Simple check in. Lovely spacious balcony to sit outside with dinner. It’s close to the metro which makes day trips simple.

There was some small ants I saw by the kitchen bin on the first day, although didn’t see them again after. Inaccessible for disabled or elderly people as there is no lift, this didn’t affect us but is important to know. Neighbours can be quite noisy, again didn’t bother us too much but good to know. Wifi is so so.

Excelent apartment in a central location. Very well equiped.

Room size, sound insulation, room layout: the bedroom was at the back of the property thus allowing the rest of the building to insulate the sleeping area from the street noise to a certain degree.

The property is situated on Party Central, so the street is very lively and very noisy until 2am. This should be mentioned in the description, as it is a built-in character of the house. It would also be worth mentioning that the property, from whichever direction, is at the top of a steep hill. Walking with heavy luggage will be a problem for some people, especially as the property seems to be on a street with limited vehicle access.
