Central 2BDR Apartment with Balcony by LovelyStay

Clean, spacious apartment with more than enough room for four. The kitchen is well equipped, and the building has an elevator up to the third floor. The location is very central but sits on a mostly quiet street. Balconies are wonderful. The building felt very secure, and it’s an easy walk to plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Loved everything about the apartment itself, but there are two things worth knowing. First, it sits above a gallery/events venue that periodically hosts loud parties well into the night. Second, the property management company was disappointing. I let them know three hours ahead that our flight was delayed, and we agreed on a new meeting time. They showed up nearly an hour late with the keys, leaving our family stranded in the heat on the street with no access to the building. Each time we called, we were told they’d “be there shortly.” A simple heads up in advance would have let us wait in a cafe instead. There’s also a quirk with some Portuguese locks: if a key is left in the lock on the inside of the door, the second set of keys won’t work from the outside. Nothing in the apartment mentions this, and we ended up locked out. When we called, the company arranged a locksmith but refused to cover any portion of the fee or take any responsibility.

L'appartamento è al terzo piano di un condominio ristrutturato interamente. Sia il condominio che l'appartamento sono eleganti e signorili. L'appartamento è molto spazioso ed è anche silenzioso, perchè non vi sono locali nelle vicinanze e perchè la strada su cui affaccia è poco trafficata. La posizione è ottima in un punto tranquillo del Bairro Alto. Le chiavi si ritirano da un incaricato della società che gestisce l'immobile, che mi ha scritto il giorno prima per concordare l'orario di arrivo. L'appartamento è confortevole e noi siamo stati molto bene.

Nel mezzo dell'appartamento vi sono due gradini, insidiosi, che dividono il soggiorno dalla cucina e da uno dei bagni e delle camere. Sia i lavandini dei bagni che la doccia non hanno il miscelatore, ma il doppio rubinetto caldo/freddo, che ormai non si usa più perchè scomodo. L'appartamento è fornito di lavatrice e lavastoviglie, ma chi gestisce l'immobile ha lasciato una sola dose di detersivo per ciascuno di questi elettrodomestici, il che ne ha limitato fortemente la possibilità di utilizzo (noi stavamo quattro giorni).

Apartamento completo, muito charmoso e ótima localização! A Anfitriã foi muito prestativa! Recomendo
