Perfect place to enjoy the IOM

Great property for large family, if only had enough hot water for us all.

Lovely remote location. Property was perfect for hosting a private family get together. Plenty of space and seating for everyone. Property was very well decorated and tastefully furnished. Well heated and was very comfortable. Plenty of space to park cars. Every bedroom had its own bathroom with shower. Family room also had a bath. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Dishwasher tablets also provided.

There wasn’t enough hot water. There was 11 people staying in property. 8 adults and 3 children. There was only enough hot water for a couple of people to shower. More than one of us experienced their shower go suddenly freezing cold. I had to rinse shampoo out with freezing cold water. Not what I expect from 5 star accommodation!

The space we had was amazing, lots of room to sit as a family or have our own space! Best game of hide and seek ever!

There was nothing I didn’t like, but the addition of a hot tub would have been perfect.

A fantastic holiday home offering lots of space for a relaxing break with great views

Property layout was perfect for the 7 adults and 2 children. Especially having a small kitchen on the first floor with the open lounge and dinner. Master bedroom was extremely spacious. Separate ensuites for each bedroom was great. The conservatory area next to one of the ground floor bedrooms and access to the first floor. This was a lovely area to chill. The view of the countryside and sea was relaxing and beautiful. Main kitchen was a great space to cook and eat together, and the cosy window seat was good. Furnishings throughout the property were well thought out. A very relaxing and comfortable space to live in. Being within a Rare Breeds Farm was great, and the pictures of the rare breed animals in the property was lovely and fun especially for the grandkids. Great communication with the property manager.

A cooking wok would have been great. Being very used to green recycling in mainland UK (Food Waste, Glass, Plastics, and cardboards, would have been helpful in the Welcome Notes to mention that the Isle of Man has no separate recycling bins and all rubbish goes in the dumpster.

The Barn was perfect! from the communication and personalization from the host, the ideal iv location, and the beauty of the home made for a perfect trip to the Isle of Man! The rooms were pristine, the kitchen was over the top, and our host made a true connection e we itch our family to really make us feel welcome.

The Barn was simply beautiful, We stayed for work purposes but it's an amazing space for events. Super spacious and stunning views, Was made to feel very welcome. Lucky enough to see the isle of Man experience all that snow during our stay!

Perfect property for large family group

Style and decor of property was immaculate. All facilities were top quality. 4 Bedrooms, all with en suites enabling large group to have privacy and private toilet/shower facilities. Large kitchen and smaller kitchen ideal for cooking and drink making. Perfect.

Needs a good clean but a beautiful place to stay

This place is spectacular, we were met by a lovely lady who showed us around as it was very big! It was very impressive and the quality of furniture and fixtures were excellent. The bedding and towels were all clean.

I packed slippers and a dressing gown but after reading the long list of what was included, I took them out, I didn’t find any slippers, so had to walk round in socks on wooden and tiled floors! It needs a good clean, the furniture was covered in glass to preserve it, however you could see the dirt and food under it at the kitchen table and dining room table !! The kitchen handles were all dirty. The beautiful beams were white with dust and there were lots of cobwebs! The dog next door barked when it was outside.

Beautiful accommodation

Central location on Isle of Man. Rare breeds grazing alongside The Barn were an added attraction for our grand-daughter. Spotting the rabbits too was fun! Loved the conservatory & outdoor seating. Largely opted to eat in the well-equipped kitchen.

Brief problem sorted with mains water supply. Contacted by representative of Manx Utilities.

Staycation birthday celebration

Loads of room for a big family to stay and the communal room is amazing!!

The amazing room with the views isn’t very usable in the winter due to the temperature. A log burner would be the perfect addition to make it more usable. Also a Christmas tree the week before Xmas would have been a great addition to feel a bit more festive.
