It was very central to most sites as in 5-10 mins walking distance. Eateries in the area were fantastic and good value.

Location was excellent, easy to get to all the sights, close to some wonderful restaurants and bars! Check in was really smooth, we were given a map and some hints and tips of what to do (thank you for flagging that as the first Sunday of the month certain museums were free to get into, so we benefited from visiting Castel San Angelo as the sun was setting on our first night for free!) Accommodation was spacious, really good high pressure shower, comfortable bed, coffee facilities in the room. Would definitely stay again when visiting Rome.
It didn’t cause us an issue, but worth mentioning, the staircase up to the mezzanine sleeping area was quite steep and the mezzanine itself has very low headroom. As I said, didn’t cause us any issues, I really liked how quirky it was - but might not be quite as suitable for very tall people or those that aren’t quite so mobile.
